We're absolutely delighted to be back at the wonderful Denbies Wine Estate for our summer Prosecco Run and our usual running weekend in August. It's not all about wine this weekend because they do a rather lovely Prosecco too! What more could you want - Prosecco and running! We'll also have a brand new colour version of the epic medal. This is one of our timed events where you choose - from 5km to 10k, half to marathon to ultra you can complete as many, or as few, laps as you like of a 5.3km, 3.28 mile, looped course around the beautiful Denbies Wine Estate within the overall 7 hour time limit. We welcome all abilities of runner - complete one loop and you're both a finisher and a winner in our eyes, or keep going and see how far you can get in the full 7 hour time limit and everyone gets the fabulous bespoke finishers' medal. We also operate our uniquely flexible 'rock up and run' start times within a 1 hour start window, so no waiting around if you arrive early and no added pressure if you're running a bit late. If you have any special start time requirements then just get in touch because depending on the distance you are planning to run we can pretty much accommodate all start time requests. Whilst Phoenix Running is very much about the bling and our medals are second to none, we're also acutely conscious that events can be expensive to enter and times are tough right now. We're now in our 9th year of fixed prices for our standard themed events, but to try and do our bit we're trailing a 'no medal' entry option at a flat £22. We cover our base costs, you get a run with all the usual Phoenix support, epic aid station, same day results published, athletes profiles, Phoenix World, digital BIBs, digital finishers certificates, etc, etc but without a medal we can keep the price low for this entry option. Not sure? Well the beauty of this format is that you don't even need to decide in advance - simply come and run a lap and see how you feel on the day and keep on going if it feels right. Places will be strictly limited so don't leave it too late to enter. Minimum distance is 3.28 miles or as far as you can go in 7 hours. Off road trail, through the wine estate with the odd hill thrown in. Undulating and hilly.

Welcome to Shipley Country Park in Derbyshire, an area steeped in history and was even mentioned in the Doomsday Book back in 1086! The land has been part of a stately home, hunting lodge, and, as always in this area, a coal mine. We’ll be putting on a series of events celebrating the butterflies (and sometimes moths) from around the world! Hopefully, you can join us and add the medals to your Rasselbock collection. The next in the butterfly series is all about the breathtaking Purple Emperor, usually found in south and centeral England milling around treetops before ocasionally heading down to ground level for sustenance. These vivid colours have been on a decline in recent years and are hard to spot as they’re so rarely down at eye level. We want to show off these purple wings and imortalise them in a spectacular medal!

This is a trail event and while it does include a stretch along the rowing lake, expect mud, roots and puddles. The event will be a six-hour challenge on a looped course around the amazing Holme Pierrepont Country Park and Watersports center. You may attempt to complete as many laps as possible over the full six hours, or you may choose to finish just one. This is a perfect course if you’re aiming for a PB as it’s pretty flat with just the odd small lump to climb! Holme Pierrepont is quite prone to flooding with areas and pathways closing and opening quite regularly through the wetter months. Because of this we have created two different 5.4km loops with two different starting points. One on the North side of the Regata rowing lake near the cafe and one starting from a car park to the south. While we will prioritise the south route, we will confirm in the weeks beforehand, which route we will use. Both are roughly 5.45km with 22m and 27m of elevation. Both can be seen bellow; Prioritised South route: www.plotaroute.com/route/2699715 Backup North route: www.plotaroute.com/route/2012683 At Rasselbock we like to put on events how we'd like to have them. No stress, pressure, a great bunch of runners, and a small entry pool so everyone can meet each other. You can decide on the day how far you'd like to run so there is no worries if you're having a "bad running day". Just complete one lap of the event and you're classed as a finished. No set distance, just go!

A truly special race that not only takes in many of Bath's beautiful attractions, but also has the longest underground section for each race distance in the UK! Cutting right under the city of the Bath, the two tunnels offer a truly unique running experience. The Somerset & Dorset Railway closed in 1966 and until April 2013, the tunnels had been sealed and inaccessible. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the Two Tunnels Group and Sustrans over a period of 7 years, the two tunnels now have a new lease of life as a shared use path. The first tunnel, the Devonshire Tunnel is 408m long and the second tunnel, Combe Down Tunnel is 1672m long. Both tunnels are well lit and well surfaced and have recently been converted into a shared use path for the enjoyment of runners, walkers and cyclists looking to make the most of the city whilst remaining on flatter ground. With 2 different half marathons, 2 different 10kms, 5km, 2km and 500m Colourburst races there are events for all the family, and if they are not taking part, bring your friends and family to cheer you on. Our start and finish is at Brickfields Park in the middle of the city which also has a children's play ground and is a great spot to sit and enjoy a picnic after the race. We are very happy to be supporting the ongoing work of Sustrans in maintaining the Two Tunnels by contributing £1 per runner to their charity. Looking to fund raise as part of your run, why not raise money for Sustrans? You will get a lovely free running vest and other goodies. Find our more here. In 2019 we donated £5,254 to Sustrans
