Join us for the Remembrance Run 2026, a heartfelt event organized by Saturn Running, taking place on Sunday, November 8, 2026, in the scenic Egham, Surrey. This special day is dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in conflicts around the world. Participants can engage in a meaningful two-minute silence at 11:00 AM, with this time being removed from official race results, emphasizing the spirit of remembrance. The Remembrance Run offers a flexible 7-hour Time Challenge, allowing runners to choose their distance, starting from a minimum of 3 km up to ultra distances of 50 km. The course winds along a picturesque stretch of the River Thames, with a mix of well-made paths and light trails. Whether you’re a seasoned marathoner or a first-time runner, this event welcomes all ages and abilities. About The Event THE EVENT HELD IN SURREY, SOUTH EAST The Remembrance Day Run is your chance to remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice during conflicts around the world. During our event, we will commemorate the fallen heroes who sacrificed their future for our future. We will have a two minute silence at 11:00am and we will remove the two minutes from your official time. The lowest entry price for all distances is available to members only and is £10.00 lower than the full price. You can become a member by logging into your profile and purchasing one of the membership schemes. As well as the cheapest entry price, a member is guaranteed entry to the run and gets a mini-me medal pin at every event they attend! Distance & Time This is a 7 hour Time Challenge event which allows you full control over the distance you want to run. The minimum distance is 3km, which is part of a lap. A full lap is 4.37 miles or 7km (this is subject to change to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions) and you can run as many, or as few, of these laps as you like subject to UK athletics age restrictions (please see the restrictions below). We will have a 3k turn point and 5k turn point within the lap which is available to allow our younger runners to comply with the UK Athletics distance rules. It is 3 laps for a half marathon, 6 for a marathon and 7 or over for an ultra, we also have a 50km distance available. Course The course along a beautiful stretch of the River Thames. It is fully signed so no navigational experience is required. The course is a mixture with approximately 60% of it on a well-made path / tarmac. The remainder is grass and light trail which can get muddy at certain times of the year. Road shoes can be used all year round but if you prefer the extra grip on the trail sections then trail shoes can be worn. Medals & Pins As long as you complete 3km, you will be an official finisher and you will get an incredible medal to commemorate all those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We also have distance pins available for anyone who runs a half-marathon distance or more. Pins available to collect are our Half-Marathon, Mega-Half, Marathon, 50km and Ultra pins. You will receive one pin on the ribbon of your medal to reflect your achievement. Goody Bag Absolutely! You earned the calories after all, so all our finishers get a goody bag. As well as our standard goody bag, with a selection of various goodies to choose from, we also have a fabulous vegan goody bag for our vegan runners. Aid Table We have a fantastic aid table and drinks table at the start / finish of each lap. There is a great selection of savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items at the aid table. Special Event If our event is a special event for you, for instance your 50th, 99th, 100th, 200th, 250th etc., half or full marathon then please let us know. You will receive a special running number with your name on it and the date of the event. Venue Facilities Toilets and changing facilities are available at the race HQ. Bag drop is near the start and finish area. Runners should be aware the bag drop is not staffed and items are left at the sole responsibility of the participant. No liability for lost items will be accepted by the Organiser. Car Parking There is a large pay on exit carpark at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds. Race Day Instructions & Number Pick Up Final race day instructions will be sent out via email in the week leading up to the event and this will contain full race day information. Number pick up is on the day at race registration before the start of the event. Other Information There will be somewhere to leave a bag at the start / finish area. However, this is not a secure bag and the items cannot be watched at all times so please do not leave anything valuable. Headphones are allowed. Our running events are held on public footpaths so we would be grateful if all runners were considerate of other path users.
