Get ready for an exhilarating day of running at the Autumn Feisty Phoenix Day 2, hosted by Phoenix Running Hampshire on Sunday, November 15, 2026, in the picturesque city of Winchester, Hampshire. This exciting event takes place along the stunning Itchen Way, featuring a professionally measured course with a Road Permit, making it perfect for achieving your goals—whether you’re chasing a Good For Age time, tackling a Road Marathon, or simply enjoying a scenic run without the mud! Participants can choose from a variety of race distances, including a 2.62-mile out-and-back route, with the option to run as many laps as they desire within a generous 7-hour time limit. Cover five laps for a Half Marathon, ten laps for a full Marathon, or take on the challenge of an Ultra by completing eleven or more laps. Every finisher will receive a fabulous bespoke medal, and our renowned aid station will keep you fueled with a delightful selection of sweet and savory treats, including signature potatoes and plenty of vegan options. Phoenix Running Hampshire is inviting you to join us along The Itchen Way in Winchester for our event 'Autumn Feisty Phoenix Day 2'. This course has been professionally measured and has a Road Permit for this event. So, whether you're going for a GFA, a 'Road Marathon', or simply want to run on a beautiful smooth course without getting your trainers all muddy, then please join us. It's always a party with Phoenix. This is one of our timed events where you choose from one 2.62 mile out/back, to as many as you wish in 7 hours. Five for a Half Marathon, ten for a Marathon, and eleven or more for an Ultra. The course is an out/back along the beautiful Itchen Way, crossing over the Hockley Viaduct, and back. We welcome all abilities of runner - complete one lap and you're both a finisher and a winner in our eyes or keep going and see how far you can get in the full 7 hour time limit and everyone gets the fabulous bespoke finisher's medal. Our aid station is also famous for all its sweet and savoury goodies and signature POTATOES, we will always provide plenty of Vegan options too, so you won't go hungry! We operate our uniquely flexible rock up and run start times, so no waiting around if you arrive early and no added pressure if you're running a bit late. The official start time is at 0800, but you are welcome to start anytime up till 1300. Give yourself plenty of time to complete the distance of your choice, as the course will close at 1500. The event will be based in the Garnier Road Car Park, with ample parking available a short 3 minute walk away at the St. Catherine's Park & Ride. If you have any special start time requirements then just get in touch because depending on the distance you are planning to run, we can pretty much accommodate all start time requests. Not sure? Well, the beauty of this format is that you don't even need to decide in advance. Simply come and run a lap and see how you feel on the day and keep on going if it feels right. Places will be strictly limited so don't leave it too late to enter. The postcode for your sat nav for parking is SO23 9NP which is the East Winchester Park & Ride (St. Catherine's). Look for 'Area 5' which is the closest to Park & Ride toilets and the start. Parking charges apply on Saturdays (Sundays are free) which is £3.50 for the day, or £1.80 for up to 3 hours.
