Phoenix Running Cambridgeshire is inviting you to join us back at Thorpe Meadows in Peterborough for our Little Miss and Mister Runner event. Not only a choice of 2 medals with this one, but we get to celebrate Kelly's birthday too. We will definitely have some birthday cake and treats for you all to share. A picturesque park, your lap takes in several of the sculptures that surround the rowing lake, you also run alongside the river Nene and finish the lap through a wooded trail. This is one of our timed events where you choose - from 5km to 10k, half to marathon to ultra, you can complete as many, or as few, laps as you like of a 5.3km, 3.28 mile loop course around Thorpe Meadows. We welcome all abilities of runner - complete one lap and you're both a finisher and a winner in our eyes, or keep going and see how far you can get in the full 6 hour time limit and everyone gets the fabulous bespoke finishers' medal. We also operate our uniquely flexible 'rock up and run' start times within a 1 hour start window, so no waiting around if you arrive early and no added pressure if you're running a bit late. Well the beauty of this format is that you don't even need to decide in advance - simply come and run a lap and see how you feel on the day and keep on going if it feels right. Places will be strictly limited so don't leave it too late to enter. Start anytime between 08:00am and 9:00am (registration open from 7.30am). Minimum distance is 3.28 miles or as far as you can go in 6 hours. Tarmac cycle paths and small section of gravel path. The overall course has minimal elevation gain / loss making this a relatively flat and fast route. Please note, as per UK Athletics rules, distance restrictions apply to participants ages 20 or under We provide a physical running service and by entering our events you are purchasing an actual run, either by attending our events or by running the event virtually yourself. Circuit running welcomes you to our Rumble in the jumble V event. We are pleased to have our inaugural event here in Penistone, it'll be a 6 hour challenge where you can complete 5k all the way up to ultra marathon within the time limit you can start a last lap up to 5:59:59 hrs even if you finish over 6 hours. everyone is welcome weather you run or walk. Event location: St John’s Community Centre, Church St, Penistone, Sheffield S36 6AR The course will be out and back laps along the old railway line of a 4.37 miles course, there'll be a 5k turn point and a 10k will be 2 laps of the 5k lap, a half marathon will be 3 laps, a marathon 4 laps and an ultra marathon 7 laps. Start time is 8:30am, registration will open at 8:00am. What do I get for taking part: After finishing you'll have the option of picking a medal of your choice from a selection of medals from our previous events and get a goody bag for your hard earned effort. Aid table: There'll be a table at the end of each lap with water, squash, fizzy drinks and a variety of different food. You can start your last lap up until 5:59:59 hrs after the event start. Toilet facilities: The venue has toilets available for runners. but there are no separate changing facilities or showers. Please be considerate to other path users with our event being held on a public footpath. Parking: There is free car parking at the venue, please car share where possible. Public transport: Penistone train station is approximately 0.3 miles walk from the venue. Event instructions and Numbers: Event instructions will be sent out to participants 7 days before the event via email. Number pick up will be from registration on the morning of event day. There will be somewhere to leave a bag at the start / finish area. However, this is not a secure bag area, and the items cannot be always watched so please do not leave anything valuable. Our running events are held on public footpaths so we would be very grateful if all runners are considerate of all other path users. Each day has brand new giant spinning duck medal with up to 10 colours to collect and as if that wasn't enough to get your wings flapping, you'll also receive an actual rubber ducky, themed for each day - bath times will never be the same again! You can enter any of the days individually or any combination of days, or, why not try our 5in5, 7in7 or perhaps even the complete Ten in Ten (TiT) Summer race series 2026. Come and join Saturn Running for our annual GNR & Time Turner event 2026 - whether you're looking to get some miles under your belt before The Great North Run or you just fancy a run along the beautiful River Wear, then this is the event for you! Date & time: Sunday 30th of August 2026 Official start time: 9.30am Location: Durham Amateur Rowing Club, Green Ln, Old Elvet, Durham DH1 3JU Distance & Time This is a 7 hour Time Challenge event which allows you full control over the distance you want to run. The minimum distance is 5km, which is part of a full lap. A full lap is 4.37 miles (7km) and you can run as many or as few of these laps as you wish in the 7 hour time limit. Please note, we may use the 3.28 mile course at this venue and we will advise closer to the time. Course The course is along a beautiful stretch of the River Wear with views of the Cathedral and is classified as a trail run. It is fully signed so no navigational experience is required. All abilities are welcome at our super-inclusive events and we also welcome walkers too. Medals & Pins As long as you complete one lap, you will be an official finisher and you will receive one of our fantastic themed medals! We also have distance pins available for anyone who runs a half-marathon distance or more. Pins available to collect are our Half-Marathon, Mega-Half, Marathon, 50km and Ultra pins. You will receive one pin on the ribbon of your medal to reflect your achievement. Goody Bag Absolutely! You earned the calories after all, so all our finishers get a goody bag. As well as our standard goody bag, with a selection of various goodies to choose from, we also have a fabulous vegan goody bag for our vegan runners. Aid Table We have a fantastic aid table and drinks table at the start / finish of each lap. There is an incredible selection of drinks and savoury or sweet snacks such as crisps, cheese, fruit and cookies with vegan options also available. Special Event If our event is a special event for you, for instance your 50th, 99th, 100th, 150th, 200th, 250th etc. marathon or half marathon then please let us know. We will provide you with a great number with your name and the event date on it. Also, if it is your birthday, again let us know and we will get you a special number for your birthday! Venue Facilities Toilets and changing facilities are available at the race HQ. Bag drop is near the start and finish area. Runners should be aware the bag drop is not staffed and items are left at the sole responsibility of the participant. No liability for lost items will be accepted by the Organiser. Car Parking There is nearby free on-street parking or pay and display city centre parking. Race Day Instructions & Number Pick Up Final race day instructions will be sent out via email 7-10 days prior to the event with full race day information. We all love to be beside the seaside so why not enjoy a trail run from the coast at Hornsea in East Yorkshire. You can grab yourself fish and chips and an ice cream from the front after the race. This race follows an out and back route along the scenic Trans Pennine Trail with a variety of distances to choose from. Headphones: Most of our courses are off road but we still prefer you not to wear earphones and due to oncourse incidents, we have taken the decision to ask you not to wear large over ear headphones. These block out any other sounds and don't allow runners to hear marshals, vehicles or other users of the route. If you do need to wear earphones, then please use bone conducting earphones or "one in one out" in ear pieces. Please note, there may will be unmarshalled road crossings. Transfers/Deferrals: You can self-serve your transfer or deferral either on this website or “Let’s Do This” depending on where you booked. Please try not to change your event or details on the day as it causes delays and queues at registration.
