Known for its lush greenery and stunning landscapes, Delamere Forest offers the perfect backdrop for runners of all levels, whether you're a seasoned marathoner or a first-time participant. Participants can choose from three race distances: a scenic 10K, a challenging 21K, or the ultimate 42K marathon. Each course will take you through enchanting forest trails, alongside Blakemere Moss, and up Old Pale Hill, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Cheshire countryside. Delamere Forest, south-west of Manchester, is a shady oasis in the midst of the agricultural landscape of the Cheshire Plain and an ideal setting for a trail race accessible to all. Sections of the routes will take you deep into the forest, around Blakemere Moss, along the Sandstone Trail, and up Old Pale Hill for panoramic views of the Cheshire countryside. With stunning scenery and a team of enthusiastic marshals, the Delamere trail races are perfect for seasoned athletes and first timers alike, whether you are taking on the 10K, 21K or 42K. Start Times: Marathon – 8am Half Marathon – 9am 10k - 10am (7 hour cut off for the Marathon) Minimum Ages: HM- 17 | Marathon- 18 | 10k - 16 This race will be run under UK Athletics Rules
