Parking is also included in your entry price.  The Race HQ/Base Camp is located at the start and Lap point and at the base camp we will have our water/aid station. We have designed Bespoke medals for the event, which you will receive at the end of the race each day.  Please note the event has gone cupless - so please bring your own bottles or cups for refilling.

The Maverick Ochil Hills Trail 2026 SATURDAY 8 AUGUST 2026 AIRTHREY CASTLE, STIRLING Celebrating the Ochils, this trail running experience offers all levels of running terrain and difficulty across five distances, from a forest trail 5k, a fast trail marathon and 50k that offers all of the best mix of forest and fell running. Starting at the University of Stirling, run out through Hermitage Wood and Black Hill, along undulating open trails, with the Ochils as your distant viewpoint. For those running the longer distances, get ready for some exciting climbs and fell trails as you enter the Ochil Hills. Working closely with local partners such as the University, Mountain Rescue, and Future Forest Charity, we'll celebrate the local community and the vast hills of the Ochils. Due to likely high temperatures , dogs will not be allowed to take part in this event.

We're kicking things off with our very popular 'Painted Cow' run inspired by the Denbies painted cows located outside the garden shop. We also operate our uniquely flexible 'rock up and run' start times within a 1.5 hour start window, so no waiting around if you arrive early and no added pressure if you're running a bit late. If you have any special start time requirements then just get in touch because depending on the distance you are planning to run we can pretty much accommodate all start time requests. Whilst Phoenix Running is very much about the bling and our medals are second to none, we're also acutely conscious that events can be expensive to enter and times are tough right now. We're now in our 11th year of fixed prices for our standard themed events, but to try and do our bit we're trailing a 'no medal' entry option at a flat £22. We cover our base costs, you get a run with all the usual Phoenix support, epic aid station, same day results published, athletes profiles, Phoenix World, digital BIBs, digital finishers certificates, etc, etc but without a medal we can keep the price low for this entry option. The Ultra Loop is an inclusive and flexible 8-hour running event with no limit on how far you can run. Within the 8 hours, you are encouraged to run as many loops as you can. The mixed-terrain course combines roads and trails around a 5km loop and no matter how many loops you run, you receive a finishing time and medal. The event takes place at Temple Newsam Park in Leeds, UK where the course explores Temple Newsam's scenic woodlands and gardens.

Welcome to Shipley Country Park in Derbyshire, an area steeped in history and was even mentioned in the Doomsday Book back in 1086! The land has been part of a stately home, hunting lodge, and, as always in this area, a coal mine. We’ll be putting on a series of events celebrating the butterflies (and sometimes moths) from around the world! Hopefully, you can join us and add the medals to your Rasselbock collection. The next in the butterfly series is all about the breathtaking Purple Emperor, usually found in south and centeral England milling around treetops before ocasionally heading down to ground level for sustenance. These vivid colours have been on a decline in recent years and are hard to spot as they’re so rarely down at eye level. We want to show off these purple wings and imortalise them in a spectacular medal!

The Thames Meander event is a stunning riverside race series starting in the Small Profit Dock Gardens (Barnes) which is adjacent to the Barnes Sports Club Race HQ, The Club House, 261 Lonsdale Rd, London SW13 9QL. The run-route starts within the park area at the Small Profit Dock Gardens and heads out across Barnes Bridge towards Kew Gardens along the Thames Path trail all the way to the Petersham & Ham Sea Scouts on this very scenic out and back route. All three race distances the marathon, half marathon and 10km are very fast, flat on a runnable route proceeding all along the Thames Path, and the course will be well marked and marshalled all the way along. The Check Points will be stocked, and there is excellent medical support throughout from our KLP Medical Support Team. Our Check Points will be located at the CP1 Start / Finish – Small Profit Dock Gardens (Barnes), CP2 Kew Gardens Car Park (Ferry Lane) and CP3 Petersham & Ham Sea Cadets, Petersham. Runners World rated as one of the top 10 trail marathons in the U.K. Thames Meander Routes: These three run-routes will all start at the Small Profit Dock Gardens (Barnes) adjacent to the Barnes Sports Club Race HQ and will run alongside the Thames Path on these stunning out / back routes. 10km Route: This will be a x1 lap out / back loop for the 10km distance, starting at Small Profit Dock Gardens (Barnes) and heading out along the Thames Path to Kew Gardens Car Park Check Point 2 the turnaround point on this out and back run-route. Half Marathon Route: This will be a x1 13.1 mile out and back loop for the half marathon, starting at the Small Profit Dock Gardens (Barnes) heading out along the Thames Path to Petersham & Ham Sea Scouts CP3, the turnaround point on this out and back run-route. Marathon Route: This will be x2 13.1 mile out and back loops for the marathon, starting at the Small Profit Dock Gardens (Barnes) heading out along the Thames Path to Petersham & Ham Sea Scouts CP3, the turnaround point on this out and back run-route. The aim of our midweek runs is to hold events as cheaply as possible in order for people to be able to build their numbers or simply to help people achieve their own goals at an affordable price. The midweek runs are fully flexible with start times available from 7.30am with time to run all the way to 3.30pm! The remainder is grass and light trail which can get muddy at certain times of the year. Road shoes can be used all year round but if you prefer the extra grip on the trail sections then trail shoes can be worn. The regular course is subject to some change near the time of the event depending on our health and safety review of the course and council / land owner final approval. Medals & Pins As long as you complete 3km, you will be an official finisher and you will receive one of our fantastic medals! We also have distance pins available for anyone who runs a half-marathon distance or more. Pins available to collect are our Half-Marathon, Mega-Half, Marathon, 50km and Ultra pins. Headphones are allowed. Our running events are held on public footpaths so we would be grateful if all runners were considerate of other path users.
