A rewarding trail run through Wendover Woods, part of the beautiful Forestry England landscape on the edge of the Chiltern Hills, offers runners a scenic yet demanding trail experience across 325 hectares of steeply undulating woodland. With 181m of elevation gain, the routes wind along mature forest tracks and gravel paths, creating a natural challenge that rewards steady pacing and confident footing. From start to finish, participants can enjoy spectacular views, clear waymarking, supportive marshals, and a celebratory finish, making it an event that combines physical challenge with the beauty of the outdoors. The junior race is a fantastic addition to a perfect family day out, with plenty to enjoy at Wendover Woods from exploring the Gruffalo trail, to tackling Go Ape and discovering many other fun activities the woods have to offer.


Circuit running welcomes you to our Rumble in the jumble V event. We are pleased to have our inaugural event here in Penistone, it'll be a 6 hour challenge where you can complete 5k all the way up to ultra marathon within the time limit you can start a last lap up to 5:59:59 hrs even if you finish over 6 hours. everyone is welcome weather you run or walk. Event location: St John’s Community Centre, Church St, Penistone, Sheffield S36 6AR The course will be out and back laps along the old railway line of a 4.37 miles course, there'll be a 5k turn point and a 10k will be 2 laps of the 5k lap, a half marathon will be 3 laps, a marathon 4 laps and an ultra marathon 7 laps. Start time is 8:30am, registration will open at 8:00am. What do I get for taking part: After finishing you'll have the option of picking a medal of your choice from a selection of medals from our previous events and get a goody bag for your hard earned effort. Aid table: There'll be a table at the end of each lap with water, squash, fizzy drinks and a variety of different food. You can start your last lap up until 5:59:59 hrs after the event start. Toilet facilities: The venue has toilets available for runners. but there are no separate changing facilities or showers. Please be considerate to other path users with our event being held on a public footpath. Parking: There is free car parking at the venue, please car share where possible. Public transport: Penistone train station is approximately 0.3 miles walk from the venue. Event instructions and Numbers: Event instructions will be sent out to participants 7 days before the event via email. Number pick up will be from registration on the morning of event day. There will be somewhere to leave a bag at the start / finish area. However, this is not a secure bag area, and the items cannot be always watched so please do not leave anything valuable. Our running events are held on public footpaths so we would be very grateful if all runners are considerate of all other path users. The Joust 24hr race with three options: Take on the full 24hr challenge, either as a Solo, Team of 2, Team of 3-5 or a Team of 6-8 or…. Take on the 12 hour challenge where your target is to run 50 miles. As soon as you have the 50 mile completed you can relax, as your race is over. Available to solo runners only. Or…Take on the super chilled option of 6hrs! Available to solo runners only – how far can you go in 6hrs? The Joust race is run over a looped course circa 5.6 miles (due to the course being on private farm land the route changes slightly each year). The course is well marked and marshalled, easily navigable and relatively flat. Solo (or individual team runners) achieving 100 miles or more and Teams achieving 200 miles or more will also receive the coveted Joust Buckle. Kids Joust: The Kiddies race now has an inflatable obstacle on the course. For 2024 it was the rope maze. For 2025 it was the wrecking ball. What obstacle will appear for 2026?

Enjoy every spellbinding step through the stunning landscape of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve in this exceptional five race series Friday 04 September, 18:30 Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, East Sussex 5k & Junior Run Tarmac, Flat, Fast Overview The Rye Summer Classic Series provides a unique chance to enjoy one of Britain's most treasured conservation sites, covering a mosaic of interlocking shingle ridges, saltmarsh, intertidal grazing, reed-beds and saline lagoons. It can get windy on the reserve but if conditions are favourable then fast times are likely. These races enjoy incredible race day vibes and are ideal for both beginners and experienced runners. With a choice of race distance across all but the September race edition, it will be the summer racing series that you wait for every year. Westonbirt is the National Arboretum, home to over 2,500 different species of tree! This includes 5 national collections, including rare trees from across the world. The route is incredibly beautiful, varied and interesting as you run through the different areas dedicated to specific species. The sold terrain underfoot gives you a surface more akin to a solid road surface, with all the beauty of a trail run. Westonbirt is a great relaxing family day out with lots of activities for children too. As part of your race ticket you are welcome to stay and enjoy the arboretum for the whole day, and family, friends and supporters can gain access to the arboretum for just £3/person when travelling with a runner, for special access before 9am, and stay for the day too. Normal visitor ticket prices will be payable after 9am.

Trail running at its best in the Shropshire Hills Choice of Half Marathon or Marathon distance The weekend of the 7th September will see the return of one of the most epic half and full trail marathons to hit Shropshire, with runners tackling 13.1 or 26.2 miles on the beautiful Shropshire Hills and The Long Mynd. This is a single lap marathon so no loops or out and backs. The route covers a National Trust haven and the start and finish will be in Carding Mill Valley near the National Trust tea rooms. The course will be fully marked but runners should carry a map of the area. Runners will also be expected to carry a rucksack and a minimum of 500ml of water and a basic 1st aid kit. The race will start at 9am, and there will be a cut off of 7 hours for the full marathon. You must complete your first lap by 12.30PM to go out on a 2nd lap. Carding Mill Valley is just a stone’s throw from the beautiful town of Church Stretton which has a train station within a mile of the start. Join Us for the Henley River Half Marathon, 10K & Juniors in Support of Royal Berks Charity on Saturday 5th September 2026 The Henley River Half Marathon, 10K & Juniors offers another chance to enjoy this stunning route before the season ends. With fast, undulating trails and plenty of atmosphere, it’s the perfect late-summer race. Race alongside the Thames with support from fantastic marshals and enjoy a route designed to inspire PBs and personal achievements. As always, the course begins and ends at the iconic Temple Island Meadows.
