Spooky Challenge Day 2

Join us for an exciting day of running and camaraderie at the Spooky Challenge Day 2, organized by Running Events Devon! This exhilarating event takes place on Sunday, November 1, 2026, in the picturesque town of Okehampton, Devon. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun day out, this event welcomes participants of all abilities. The Spooky Challenge features a scenic 5.3 km out-and-back lap on a former train line, allowing you to challenge yourself over the course of seven hours. You can start anytime between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM, with a generous time limit to complete your laps by 3:30 PM. Whether you finish one lap or aim for an impressive fourteen, everyone is celebrated as a finisher and will receive a unique medal. With limited places available, be sure to register early to secure your spot and enjoy a fantastic day filled with running, rewards, and community spirit! Running Events Devon would like to invite you to come and run with us.                                  At our new venue, the Spooky Challenge Day 2 event is being held on the Sunday 1st November 2026  We are operating our 'TUGG' system as in Turn Up Get Going, you can turn up any time between 7:30 and 14:30 BUT you have to be finished by 15:30.                           Absolutely all abilities of runners / walkers can take part in our events as you have 7 hours to get to the finish of your final lap, each lap is 5.3k out and back, of our scenic route on an old disused train line.                         Everyone is welcome whether you are planning to walk or run, whether you finish 1 lap, 4 laps or even 14 laps in the permitted time, we would class you as finisher and a winner, and you can collect your Medal for the event.                                  Please come and have a try and see how far you can go.                                  Places are strictly limited so please do not leave it too late to enter, if and when we reach capacity anyone entering after, will get a bespoke medal of their choice of the ones that we have with us on that day.
