Spooky Challenge Day 1

Join us for the Spooky Challenge Day 1 on Saturday, October 31, 2026, hosted by Running Events Devon in the picturesque town of Okehampton, Devon. This exciting event invites runners and walkers of all abilities to experience a unique 5.3k out-and-back course along a scenic route on an old disused train line. With our 'TUGG' system—Turn Up Get Going—you can arrive anytime between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM, giving you the flexibility to complete as many laps as you can within the 7-hour timeframe. Whether you aim to finish just one lap or challenge yourself to complete multiple laps, every participant is celebrated as a finisher and will receive a commemorative medal. Be sure to secure your spot early, as places are limited! Once we reach capacity, late entrants will still receive a bespoke medal from our selection on the day. Running Events Devon would like to invite you to come and run with us.                                  At our new venue, the Spooky Challenge Day 1 event is being held on the Saturday 31st October 2026  We are operating our 'TUGG' system as in Turn Up Get Going, you can turn up any time between 7:30 and 14:30 BUT you have to be finished by 15:30.                              Absolutely all abilities of runners / walkers can take part in our events as you have 7 hours to get to the finish of your final lap, each lap is 5.3k out and back, of our scenic route on an old disused train line.                         Everyone is welcome whether you are planning to walk or run, whether you finish 1 lap, 4 laps or even 14 laps in the permitted time, we would class you as finisher and a winner, and you can collect your Medal for the event.                                  Please come and have a try and see how far you can go.                                  Places are strictly limited so please do not leave it too late to enter, if and when we reach capacity anyone entering after, will get a bespoke medal of their choice of the ones that we have with us on that day.
