Join us for the Shere 42k, 21k, and 10k, well-established trail running events set in the stunning Surrey Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Whether you are looking for a scenic 10k, a new challenge with the 21k, or a full 42k marathon, this event offers something for all levels of trail runners. Race Options: • 10k: A picturesque route with a 123m ascent, passing through woodland and undulating trails before returning to Shere. One drink station. • 21k (New for 2025): Following the same start as the 42k, this route takes in sections of the North Downs and Ranmore, with an elevation of 543m. Three drink stations. • 42k: A rewarding trail marathon with 1,300m elevation, covering some of the best viewpoints in the area, including Leith Hill, Holmbury Hill, Pitch Hill, St Martha’s Hill, and Newlands Corner. Seven drink stations. Scenic, traffic free multiple lap (3.57 miles) Marathons & Half Marathons

Lulworth Cove 10k, 27k & 53k Ultra – Postponed: Saturday 28th February 2026 - NEW DATE Saturday 12th September Looking for a challenge? Join us for the Lulworth Cove trail event! Choose between 10K, 27K and 50k ultra distance trail routes. All three routes are quite different to our regular RunThrough courses. They all include some rugged trails, fun climbs, descents and maybe even a stile or two! Whether you are running your first trail race or stepping up to the ultra distance for the first time, we have you covered. All three routes start at the beautiful Daggers Gate, part of the Lulworth Castle Estate, offering stunning views of the Dorset coastline and surrounding countryside. The routes will be well flagged and we have plenty of helpers to encourage you on your way to the finish line. Both the 27k and 53K routes will pass by aid stations to allow you to refuel and fill your water bottles. Included in your entry fee is a themed medal, water and post race goodies. A scenic bi-annual race series starting near the Bewl Water Visitor Centre (Lamberhurst) Kent and following the Bewl around the reservoir route. All four courses are run on a combination of undulating rural wooded trail and along some quiet country lanes, with stunning views of the lake for most of the route. Course Descriptions - 10km, Half Marathon, Marathon & Ultra 50km. Bewl Water 10km (10.00am start) – this will be an out / back 3.1mile run-route, the turnaround point will be well marshalled (2.5hrs time limit). Bewl Water Half Marathon 13.1 mile (9.30am start) – initially an anti-clockwise 0.6 mile loop, then 1 x 12.5 mile loop of Bewl (6hrs time limit). Bewl Water Marathon 26.5 mile (9.00am start) – clockwise route is initially a 1 mile loop, then 2 x12.5mile loops of Bewl (7.15hrs time limit). Bewl Water Ultra 50km / 31.25mile (8.30am start) – clockwise route is 2 x12.5 mile loops of Bewl followed by a final loop of 6.25miles (8.00hr time limit).  The distances have been measured using a Garmin Fenix 6X Pro-Solar watch and are as accurate as trail races can possibly be, the marathon as you will note is slightly longer, the trails dependant on the line you run will always vary slightly so please be aware that this is as accurate as possible. Runners World rated this course as one of the top 10 marathons in the U.K.

What is TrailFest? It’s a day of moving around wonderful woodland for all abilities, speeds and experiences. Whether you’re an experienced ultra runner keen to get an early season 50 km in or a newbie trail runner looking to do their first 10K TrailFest is for you! We’ve got 4 distances for you to chose from 10K, half marathon, marathon and 50 km. A distance to suit everyone! The idea of the day is to bring everyone together and to experience the fun of trail running in an amazing forest. Being around others doing what seems impossible can often make it seem a lot more possible too!! If you want to come and run your personal best or bimble about with your mates we’ve got the perfect distance for you. We’ve got vey generous cut off times too, to try and remove some of those barriers to new people trying out the sport. Where is it? Holdenby House is a private estate in Northamptonshire, 4 miles North-West of Northampton. It consists of a private house and gardens and working farmland. To suggest it’s got “some history” would be a bit of an understatement! It was built in 1583 for Elizabeth I and at the time was the largest house in England. Although she never visited James I and Charles I both stayed at the house. Fast-forward to today and “only” 1 wing remains of the original house, full of Elizabethan grandeur. Parking is free, it’s on grass used all year round for parking. We’ll have clear directions from the road on where to go. It is 15 minutes from from Junction 18 of the M1, use the post code NN6 8DJ for Sat Navs. It is 7 miles (15 minute drive) from Northampton train station and 5 miles (11 minutes) from Long Buckby train station. No buses service the area. Can I run with my dog? Not at these events. As the event is run under a UK Athletics/ Trail Running Association license there are no dogs allowed at any of the events. Course description The different distances all use the same parts of the course. The complete course is within the grounds of the Holdenby estate so is traffic-free trail. The route starts and finishes between the Basecourt Arches (in 1647 this was where King Charles I was taken by Cornet Joyce eventually leading to his execution!). Once you leave the formal setting you'll go around the outside of fields, a mixture of farm track and field edge. Half-way through the lap is a small wood that is rarely trodden so you’ll be ducking, weaving and leaping over branches and logs. Throughout the course you’ve got amazing views over rolling Northamptonshire. If the weather is dry and has been dry road shoes will be fine as the ground will be hard. If it’s been unseasonably wet or we’ve had downpours with 24hours of the start, trail shoes are advised. The overall elevation of each distance is listed below. There is one noticeable hill but it is mainly the deceptive rolling Northamptonshire hills. You don’t realise it but you’re going up and down all the time! Only 1 other event currently uses Holdenby House for running and they don’t use this route, come and try something brand new! I will be creating a video in the Spring - winter conditions of the course bare little resemblance to late summer! VIDEO COMING SOON What does it cost? We operate a tiered pricing approach. This may seem an odd question to answer but given the majority of our events are 6 hour lapped events it’s one I’m sure people will have! Also, to be clear, it’s trail running - it’s a trail event. The 10k may measure a little long… or short. The marathon might be 26.7 miles, I mean it’s only 26.2 miles as the queen wanted to see the finish in 1908! I try to get it as close as possible but it’s trail running - a bit of “tax” (extra") or “aggressive cornering” (less) is to be expected. The main point is you are all overing the same distance on the day"! What are the timings for each event? 50 km Registration Open – 07:00 Event Start – 08:00 Marathon Registration Open – 07:00 Event Start – 08:30 Half Marathon Registration Open – 08:00 Event Start – 09:00 10 km Registration Open – 08:00 Event Start – 09:00 Can I have crew or pacers? Yes and no. You can have crew, they’re really helpful for longer events but you cannot have pacers. To be clear, that means no-one can run with you or walk alongside you for any period of time except in the final 100m or so. We actively encourage spectators and supporters but they must not move along the trail with you. They can pop up all over the course though - or just stay in the cafe all day! There is a large grass area near the HQ that can be used to put a gazebo up if your team, club, or supporters wish to. Just let us know beforehand if you plan to do this.

The lowest entry price for all distances is available to members only and is £10.00 lower than the full price. You can become a member by logging into your profile and purchasing one of the membership schemes. As well as the cheapest entry price, a member is guaranteed entry to the run and gets a mini-me medal pin at every event they attend! The minimum distance is 3km, which is part of a lap. We will have a 3k turn point and 5k turn point within the lap which is available to allow our younger runners to comply with the UK Athletics distance rules. It is 3 laps for a half marathon, 6 for a marathon and 7 or over for an ultra, we also have a 50km distance available. The regular course is subject to some change near the time of the event depending on our health and safety review of the course. Course: The course along a beautiful stretch of the River Thames. It is fully signed so no navigational experience is required. The course is mainly well made paths and tarmac with a very short grass section. Road shoes are suitable all year round. Medals: As long as you complete 3km, you will be an official finisher and you will get one of our incredible rubber duck themed medals and your very own rubber duck! Distance Pins: We have distance pins available for anyone who runs a half-marathon distance or more. Pins available to collect are our Half-Marathon, Mega-Half, Marathon, 50km and Ultra pins. You will receive one pin on the ribbon of your medal to reflect your achievement. Goody Bag: Absolutely! You earned the calories after all, so all our finishers get a goody bag. This is one of our timed events where you choose - from 5km to 10k, half to marathon to ultra, you can complete as many, or as few, laps as you like of a 5.3km, 3.28 mile, out and back, course along the beautiful River Mersey in Chorlton Water Park.  We welcome all abilities of runners, walkers, joggers, hikers, Jeffers - complete one lap and you're both a finisher and a winner in our eyes, or keep going and see how far you can get in the full 7 hour time limit and everyone gets the fabulous bespoke finishers' medal.  Run a lap and see how you feel on the day and keep on going if it feels right. Race brief: A race brief is sent a week before the event which is mandatory reading for all participants. Chosen charity: TBC Start Time: Earliest start 8am. Rock up and Run 8am onwards.  Registration from 7.30am.  All runners should be finished by 3.30pm Location: Hardy Farm, M21 8FE Race Distance: Minimum distance is 3.28 miles or as far as you can go in 7 hours. Terrain: Off road trail, the terrain is riverside towpath. Aid station: We have a well-stocked vegetarian aid station all day, with many vegan items as well as gluten free/free from items. For example: bananas, dates, jelly sweets, crisps, usually some form of cake, squash, full sugar cola, etc. Allergies: If you have severe and life threatening allergies, please bring your own food, as we cannot guarantee there will be no cross-contamination. Profile: The overall course has very little elevation gain / loss making this a flat and fast route. Toilets and changing rooms available at Race HQ.        Parking available for 75 cars at Hardy Farm on a first come, first serve basis. The aim of our midweek runs is to hold events as cheaply as possible in order for people to be able to build their numbers or simply to help people achieve their own goals at an affordable price. This page is for day one of the weekend event Back again in the Autumn in the shade of the trees as the forest is in full bloom! As always the event will be a six-hour challenge on a looped course around the beautiful forest which is looked after by the UK Forestry Commission. You may attempt to complete as many laps as possible over the full six hours, or you may choose to finish just one, either way, you will be a finisher and receive your bespoke medal. The aim of our events is to organize races as if I were taking part, so you can expect amazing support, the best medals and goodies, and a smaller group of runners. Think of it as a small group of friends and family all coming together for an amazing day of running! You may attempt to complete as many laps as possible over the full six hours, or you may choose to finish just one, the choice is yours and you don't have to decide how far you're running until you're running! The loop at Sherwood Pines is exactly 5.76km long which means if you complete 4 laps you have covered a half marathon, 8 laps, a full marathon and 9 laps or more will be classed as an Ultra. At Rasselbock we like to put on events how we'd like to have them. No stress, pressure, a great bunch of runners, and a small entry pool so everyone can meet each other. You can decide on the day how far you'd like to run so there are no worries if you're having a "bad running day". Just complete one lap of the event and you're classed as a finisher. No set distance, just go!

In the event of a tie, the first runner back over the finish line on the final lap will be declared the winner. We'll celebrate one male and one female champion. The Lucky Horseshoe  Come and join us at our exclusive venue at Suffolk Running Centre, Church Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 5AX It's a seven-hour cut off with a mass start at 9am Your race, your pace, your distance!     This race offers you a number of distance choices - 5k, 10k, Half, Full or Ultra     This route is an out and back, making it a very social route.     The marathon will be one full loop (out and back), and all other distances will have turnaround points.      We will be utilising the Gallops Route (for ALL routes) meaning there will be a turn point for all distances under the Ultra.  If you plan to do the Ultra you will run the full out and back marathon route and then run back out to the 5k or 10k turn. If doing over the half marathon distance, the route takes you through to Newmarket to the Gallops you may get to see the race horses in training There will be an aid station of drinks and nibbles every 10k. Parking is also included in your entry price.      The Race HQ/Base Camp is located at the start and Lap point and at the base camp we will have our water/aid station. We have designed a Bespoke medal for the event, which you will receive at the end of the race.   Or if you choose the lucky dip finisher option (if available), you will choose from a selection of previous or finisher medal. Please note the event has gone cupless - so please bring your own bottles or cups for refilling.

Our annual Ouse Valley Way Marathon and Half Marathon 2026. Through the county of Huntingdonshire, the Ouse Valley is 26.2 miles long and we have created a scenic route from Earith to Eynesbury, running along and near to the river. This flat route is a mix of grass, gravel and tarmac paths. Taxi travel to the starts As these are point-to-point races, cars can be parked at the finish in Earith and taxi travel to the starts is available. We will contact you to ask if you would like taxi travel and this is charged at £10 per person. Race permit number: 8100

It's time to have some fun... Choice of 5K (ish), 10K (ish), Half Marathon and Marthon distances. Come and join us for the 8th Yabba Dabba Doo fun run at Chase Water Country Park. This multi lap event is great for people aiming to increase their distance and runners will complete as many 5K laps as they wish around the beautiful reservoir. The route is signed and the course is flat, fast, and hard underfoot with a mixture of hard stone, and pathways. There will also be aid stations full of lots of goodies to keep you going and each finisher will receive a Yabba Dabba doo medal. Fancy dress is highly encouraged! We will have use of Chasewaters facilities which include a cafe/toilets / Children’s park as well as the stunning views in the park. Phoenix Running is inviting you to join us for the very next in our giant spinning medal series - the Hedgie Hog Jog - this medal is just the cutest! This is one of our timed events where you choose - from 5km to 10k, half to marathon to ultra, you can complete as many, or as few, laps as you like of a 5.3km, 3.28 mile, out and back, course along the beautiful river Thames. We welcome all abilities of runner - complete one lap and you're both a finisher and a winner in our eyes, or keep going and see how far you can get in the full 7 hour time limit and everyone gets the fabulous bespoke finishers' medal. We also operate our uniquely flexible 'rock up and run' start times within a 1 hour start window, so no waiting around if you arrive early and no added pressure if you're running a bit late. If you have any special start time requirements then just get in touch because depending on the distance you are planning to run we can pretty much accommodate all start time requests. Whilst Phoenix Running is very much about the bling and our medals are second to none, we're also acutely conscious that events can be expensive to enter and times are tough right now. We're now in our 12th year of fixed prices for our standard themed events, but to try and do our bit we're trailing a 'no medal' entry option at a flat £22. We cover our base costs, you get a run with all the usual Phoenix support, epic aid station, same day results published, athletes profiles, Phoenix World, digital BIBs, digital finishers certificates, etc, etc but without a medal we can keep the price low for this entry option. Not sure? Well the beauty of this format is that you don't even need to decide in advance - simply come and run a lap and see how you feel on the day and keep on going if it feels right. Places will be strictly limited so don't leave it too late to enter. Minimum distance is 3.28 miles or as far as you can go in 7 hours. Off road trail, the terrain is riverside towpath. The overall course has no elevation gain / loss making this a flat and fast route.

Badminton is a stunning private estate which only open it's doors to the public for special events. The estate has a long and rich history; it can trace it's routes back to the Roman period with the remains of several Roman villas in the grounds. The estate was enhanced by many renowned architects and designers including Capability Brown and we are very fortunate to explore this beautiful landscape across the running route. The sport of Badminton can trace its roots in the estate with the dimensions of a Badminton Court being reflect in the estate hall. In recent years it has played host to the super entertaining Netflix hit The Gentleman We take pride in providing very well marked routes complete with distance markers so you can relax and enjoy your run, we also publish route maps and make GPX files available so you know what to expect when you are out on the route. Our wonderful marshal team will be out on the course to cheer you on at regular intervals, provide a presence at key points and serve you drinks and food at our amazing feast stations. There is water on the course at all of our races, electrolyte at our warmer and longer races and coke in the later stages of our marathon and ultra events. At our frequent 5km feed stations on our half marathon or longer events, and at all our finish lines you will find chocolate, sweets, fresh fruits, crisps, haribo, as well as GF and vegan snacks. Our medical team and supporting partners will look after you and bring you you home if you are injured. At the finish line you will be awarded one of our super colourful interlocking medals, along with a feast of treats including tribe bars and an amazing buffet of other snacks.
