The Maverick Dark Oxfordshire Trail 2026 SATURDAY 7 NOVEMBER 2026 STONOR PARK Welcome to the Maverick Dark Oxfordshire Trail run. If you enjoy trail running in the daylight, then you are in for a real treat running in the dark! It's an amazing experience; your senses are heightened, you immerse yourself deep in the surroundings, with your head torch on, the trails streak past you at warp speed, and you concentrate on making that perfect foot placement so as not to take a tumble. Starting and finishing in Stonor Park, which is split by the River Thames and nestled in the Chiltern Hills, this location can only be described as quintessential middle England. We love the Oxfordshire Trail race, so it was only fitting that we experience this area at night. The 3 routes are all set in the estate which is home to fallow deer and wallabies... yep, we have actually seen a wallaby there! All the routes are relatively challenging, and with 3 to choose from, there is something for everyone. Please note, there is no outpost on the Short route. Make sure you end the season strong and put this Dark Series event in your calendar as it's going to be a corker!....... And remember - The Darkness Awaits... Unfortunately, you will not be able to take part with your dog during our Dark Series events.

After another successful year in 2025 when over 500 runners took part, GBR Run are pleased to be bring this popular multi distance Remembrance event to the Sussex Running Calendar. Taking place on an out and back route along the seafront this course will likely produce some fast times. Weather permitting! We will have prizes on offer for the leading runners and age categories in each race. There will be a bespoke medal for all finishers. There will also be the Youth Mile taking place on an out back course along the seafront. All events will be licenced and accurately measured. A portion of each entry will be donated to a nominated military charity. In 2025 we were pleased to be able to donate over £1000 to the Royal British Legions Poppy Appeal.
