ATW Remembrance Runs

Come and join us for the Essex Remembrance Run 2025, in support of The Felix Fund. Join ATW for our Remembrance Runs at The Carver Barracks, (Formerly Debden Airfield), in Essex to help us to honour our fallen heroes and raise money for this fantastic military charity. You can donate HERE Remembrance Day (informally known as Poppy Day owes to the tradition of wearing the remembrance poppy), has been observed in Commonwealth member states since the end of the First World War to remember the members of their armed forces who have died in the line of duty. The day will consist of a half marathon, 10km, 5km and a 1 mile race. All races are traffic-free and use the flat and fast concrete grounds of the disused former World War 2 airfield. The event will take place on Remembrance weekend in November, and accompanying your run we will have music on the course to motivate you.  Children under the age of eight years must have their own ticket and must be accompanied by a paying adult. This can be a ticket for any distance. Participants can look forward to a supportive atmosphere, custom-designed medals, and free event photos, as well as finish line snacks and goodies to recharge after your run. ATW Transfer & Refund Policy At ATW, we understand that sometimes plans change. While we do not offer refunds or transfers to another person, we provide a hassle-free event transfer option for those unable to attend their booked event. If you are unable to participate in your scheduled event for any reason—including injury, illness, pregnancy, bereavement, or other unforeseen circumstances—you can transfer your entry to any future ATW event. There is no proof required, we trust you! Even better news, transfers can be made all the way up to 48 hours before your original event date.   ATW Community At ATW we think of our participants as a community and we love to hear about the community's dreams and achievments.
