ABBATHON brings together the fun of an ABBA tribute show with the buzz of a 5K or 10K run. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a complete beginner, or simply a devoted ABBA fan, ABBATHON is designed to be welcoming, accessible and full of feel-good energy from start to finish. Run, jog, walk or dance your way around the course through one of the city’s most iconic parks, with ABBA hits keeping the atmosphere high every step of the way. Whether you’re chasing a PB, running your first 5K, or just here for the ABBA vibes, ABBATHON is all about enjoying every step. We’re taking the tribute act out of the pub and into the park for the whole family to enjoy, combining live music, a DJ, on-course music guides, professional photography and finisher’s medals to create a fully immersive themed race experience.

About The Event Join us for a Chasing Numbers midweek run. The aim of our midweek runs is to hold events as cheaply as possible in order for people to be able to build their numbers or simply to help people achieve their own goals at an affordable price. The midweek runs are fully flexible with start times available from 7.30am with time to run all the way to 3.30pm! Now that's a FLEXIBLE FRIDAY All abilities are welcome at our super-inclusive events and we also welcome walkers too. The £20.00 entry price is available only to members. You can become a member by logging into your profile and purchasing one of the membership schemes. As well as the cheapest entry price, a member is guaranteed entry to the run and gets a mini-me medal pin at every event they attend! Distance & Time This is a 7 hour Time Challenge event which allows you full control over the distance you want to run. The minimum distance is 3km, which is part of a lap. A full lap is 4.37 miles or 7km (this is subject to change to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions) and you can run as many, or as few, of these laps as you like subject to UK athletics age restrictions (please see the restrictions below). We will have a 3k turn point and 5k turn point within the lap which is available to allow our younger runners to comply with the UK Athletics distance rules. It is 3 laps for a half marathon, 6 for a marathon and 7 or over for an ultra, we also have a 50km distance available. Course The course along a beautiful stretch of the River Thames. It is fully signed so no navigational experience is required. The course is a mixture with approximately 60% of it on a well-made path / tarmac. The remainder is grass and light trail which can get muddy at certain times of the year. Road shoes can be used all year round but if you prefer the extra grip on the trail sections then trail shoes can be worn. The regular course is subject to some change near the time of the event depending on our health and safety review of the course and council / land owner final approval. Medals & Pins As long as you complete 3km, you will be an official finisher and you will receive one of our fantastic medals! We also have distance pins available for anyone who runs a half-marathon distance or more. Pins available to collect are our Half-Marathon, Mega-Half, Marathon, 50km and Ultra pins. You will receive one pin on the ribbon of your medal to reflect your achievement. Goody Bag Absolutely! You earned the calories after all, so all our finishers get a goody bag. As well as our standard goody bag, with a selection of various goodies to choose from, we also have a fabulous vegan goody bag for our vegan runners. Aid Table We have a fantastic aid table and drinks table at the start / finish of each lap. There is a great selection of savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items at the aid table. Special Event If our event is a special event for you, for instance your 50th, 99th, 100th, 200th, 250th etc., half or full marathon then please let us know. You will receive a special running number with your name on it and the date of the event. Venue Facilities Toilets are available at the race HQ which also has a great cafe. Bag drop is next to the start finish line but is unmanned meaning items are left at the participants own risk. Car Parking There is a large pay on exit carpark at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds. Race Day Instructions & Number Pick Up Final race day instructions will be sent out via email in the week leading up to the event and will include full race day information. Number pick up is on the day at race registration before the start of the event. Other information There will be somewhere to leave a bag at the start / finish area. However, this is not a secure bag and the items cannot be watched at all times so please do not leave anything valuable. Headphones are allowed. Our running events are held on public footpaths so we would be grateful if all runners were considerate of other path users.

The Maverick South Downs Trail 2026 SATURDAY 3 OCTOBER 2026 QUEEN ELIZABETH COUNTRY PARK We head to the South Downs for another fun-packed Trail Run with five race distances on offer. Whilst the routes are aimed at all levels of runners, the emphasis is on taking you Mavericks to your first / funnest Ultra. With all five routes starting at Queen Elizabeth Country Park , you’ll be running straight out into this wooden wonderland. The route picks up the infamous South Downs Way, with runners on the Marathon & Ultra route enjoying a 15km stretch on undulating chalky trails. All four routes pack a punch with some short sharp climbs that get the legs and lungs burning. The Ultra route will take you through Harting Downs and West Dean Woods. Please note, there is no outpost on the Short route. This is a beautiful route that crisscrosses the Hampshire & Sussex border with woodlands, farm trails and ridgeways to run along. If you haven’t run your first ultra yet... then join us for this one. You won’t regret it. Bring the families, support crews and cheer squad and relax and enjoy the Maverick event village. Join us for the Run Dorney Lake Half Marathon, 10k & 5k on Saturday 3rd October 2026 Join us for a 5k, 10k or Half Marathon distance at the home of London 2012′s Olympic rowing events. Dorney Lake is situated near the village of Dorney in Buckinghamshire, is a purpose-built rowing lake with grounds that are a perfect backdrop to running as well as rowing. The flat course is ideal for a chip-timed personal best over the 5k or 10k distance. The Hardwick Hobble is a six-hour challenge on a looped course around the amazing National Trust Heritage site at Hardwick Hall. You may attempt to complete as many laps as possible over the full six hours, or you may choose to finish just one, the choice is yours and you don't have to decide how far you're running until you're running! The course will take you around the stunning grounds of the Hardwick Estate, from the ponds and farmlands to past the house itself. The route is 5.66km long, so 4 laps is a Half Marathon, 8 laps a marathon and 9 laps or more will class as an Ultra. At Rasselbock we like to put on events how we'd like to have them. No stress, pressure, a great bunch of runners, and a small entry pool so everyone can meet each other. You can decide on the day how far you'd like to run so there are no worries if you're having a "bad running day". Just complete one lap of the event and you're classed as a finisher and claim a medal.

Welcome to CIRCUIT RUNNING we look forward to welcoming you to our Hull Culture Run II The event is a 6 hour challenge timed event where you can run anything from a 5k up to ultra marathon within the time limit. The event will start at 8:50am and registration will open at 8:25am on Saturday 3/10/2026. The course will be 4.37 miles a lap but there'll be a 5k turn point and a 10k will be 2 laps of the 5k lap, a half marathon will be 3 laps of the 4.37 miles course, 6 laps for a marathon, 7 or more for an ultra marathon. There'll be a aid table at the end of each lap with water, squash, fizzy drinks and a variety of different foods like sweets, biscuits grapes plus lots more for you to help yourself to every time you pass the aid table. You can start your last lap up until 5:59:59 hrs. Course is predominantly on a tarmac path along an old railway line with a small section of trail, the course is out and back with no navigation required. Toilets will be at a local lesuire facility. Parking: Parking is on Preston road in the parking bays down there near to poorhouse lane please park responsibly it's a short walk from the event start location. Please do not park in any local business car parks or along poorhouse lane as there is parking restrictions down there. After finishing you'll receive a bespoke medal and a goody bag for your hard earned effort. The 16th edition of the Altra Kielder Marathon route follows an almost entirely off-road course around northern Europe’s largest man-made lake, Kielder Water, in Northumberland. Britain’s Most Beautiful Marathon is the finale to a weekend of events, starting with the Altra Kielder 10k & Gravel Duathlon followed by the Altra Kielder Half Marathon and Junior races. It all adds up to an electric atmosphere and a fabulous weekend in this beautiful part of the country. Why not make a short break of it and bring your friends and family along? There is plenty to do in and around Kielder Water and the wider Northumberland countryside!

We operate our uniquely flexible rock up and run start times, so no waiting around if you arrive early and no added pressure if you're running a bit late. The official start time is at 0800, but you are welcome to start anytime up till 1300. Give yourself plenty of time to complete the distance of your choice, as the course will close at 1500. Our aid station is also famous for all its sweet and savoury goodies and our signature POTATOES, we will always provide plenty of Vegan options too, so you won't go hungry! Places will be strictly limited so don't leave it too late to enter. Minimum distance is 3.28 miles or as far as you can go in 7 hours. Off road trail, the terrain is hard packed/well established trail. The overall course has an 80 meter gain. Parking charges apply: £2 for up to 2 hours, £4 up to 4 hours, £6 all day. 20% of proceeds go directly to Forestry England for the caring of the woodlands. This race is licensed by the TRA and will be run under UK Athletics rules.

Starting in Mill Marsh Park the route takes you out along the Wray Valley Trail through the beautiful Parke Estate following the River Bovey. Choose from 5km to ultra marathon, you can complete as many, or as few, laps as you like of a 5.3km, 3.28 mile, out and back, course along the beautiful Wray Valley Trail. We also operate our flexible 'rock up and run' start time, so no waiting around if you arrive early and no added pressure if you're running a bit late. Well the beauty of this format is that you don't even need to decide in advance - simply come and run a lap and see how you feel on the day and keep on going if it feels right. Here at Phoenix Running Devon, we pride ourselves on providing the very best race bling to highlight your achievement however we are conscious that events can be expensive to enter, and times are tough right now. We are therefore trialling a 'no medal' entry option from £25. We cover our base costs, and you get all the usual Phoenix support, epic aid station, same-day results, athlete's profiles, Phoenix World, digital bibs, digital finishers certificates, and so on, but not having a medal means we can keep the price lower for this entry option. Places are strictly limited so don't leave it too late to enter! If all the medal spaces are gone, you can always opt for one of our none medal entries. Pro Trail: Competitive trail running over either distance - push the pace against fellow runners. 3.
