Set in the stunning Forest of Bere in Fareham, Hampshire, this event welcomes runners of all abilities to choose their distance, ranging from 5km to an Ultra marathon. The course features a scenic 3.28-mile out-and-back trail, perfect for those looking to challenge themselves or simply enjoy a beautiful day outdoors. With a flexible start time from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, there’s no need to rush—arrive at your convenience and run at your own pace within the generous 7-hour time limit. Whether you complete one lap or push your limits, every participant is celebrated as a finisher! Our famous aid station will keep you fueled with a delightful selection of sweet and savory goodies, including plenty of vegan options and our signature potatoes. Remember, spots are limited, so register early to secure your place at this exciting event, where 20% of proceeds support the vital work of Forestry England in caring for our woodlands. Phoenix Running Hampshire is inviting you to join us in the beautiful Forest of Bere for our 'Think Pink Day 1' event. This is one of our timed events where you choose from 5km to Ultra. The course is a 3.28 mile out/back through the beautiful Forest of Bere. We welcome all abilities of runner. Complete one lap and you're both a finisher and a winner in our eyes, or keep going and see how far you can get in the full 7 hour time limit. We operate our uniquely flexible rock up and run start times, so no waiting around if you arrive early and no added pressure if you're running a bit late. The official start time is at 0800, but you are welcome to start anytime up till 1300. Give yourself plenty of time to complete the distance of your choice, as the course will close at 1500. Our aid station is also famous for all its sweet and savoury goodies and our signature POTATOES, we will always provide plenty of Vegan options too, so you won't go hungry! Places will be strictly limited so don't leave it too late to enter. Minimum distance is 3.28 miles or as far as you can go in 7 hours. Off road trail, the terrain is hard packed/well established trail. The overall course has an 80 meter gain. Parking charges apply: £2 for up to 2 hours, £4 up to 4 hours, £6 all day. 20% of proceeds go directly to Forestry England for the caring of the woodlands. This race is licensed by the TRA and will be run under UK Athletics rules.
