Phoenix Running Hampshire is inviting you to join us in the beautiful Forest of Bere for our 'Think Pink Day 2' event. This is one of our timed events where you choose from 5km to Ultra. The course is a 3.28 mile out/back through the beautiful Forest of Bere. We welcome all abilities of runner. Complete one lap and you're both a finisher and a winner in our eyes, or keep going and see how far you can get in the full 7 hour time limit. We operate our uniquely flexible rock up and run start times, so no waiting around if you arrive early and no added pressure if you're running a bit late. The official start time is at 0800, but you are welcome to start anytime up till 1300. Give yourself plenty of time to complete the distance of your choice, as the course will close at 1500. Our aid station is also famous for all its sweet and savoury goodies and our signature POTATOES, we will always provide plenty of Vegan options too, so you won't go hungry! Places will be strictly limited so don't leave it too late to enter. Minimum distance is 3.28 miles or as far as you can go in 7 hours. Off road trail, the terrain is hard packed/well established trail. The overall course has an 80 meter gain. Parking charges apply: £2 for up to 2 hours, £4 up to 4 hours, £6 all day. 20% of proceeds go directly to Forestry England for the caring of the woodlands. This race is licensed by the TRA and will be run under UK Athletics rules.

About The Event Come and join us for our Autumn Lucky Dip Run, there is no set medal for this race, instead, you will get to choose your own from a selection of medals from past events! All abilities are welcome at our super-inclusive events and we also welcome walkers too. The £23.00 entry price is available only to members. You can become a member by logging into your profile and purchasing one of the membership schemes. As well as the cheapest entry price, a member is guaranteed entry to the run and gets a mini-me medal pin at every event they attend! Distance & Time This is a 7 hour Time Challenge event which allows you full control over the distance you want to run. The minimum distance is 3km, which is part of a lap. A full lap is 4.37 miles or 7km (this is subject to change to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions) and you can run as many, or as few, of these laps as you like subject to UK athletics age restrictions (please see the restrictions below). We will have a 3k turn point and 5k turn point within the lap which is available to allow our younger runners to comply with the UK Athletics distance rules. It is 3 laps for a half marathon, 6 for a marathon and 7 or over for an ultra, we also have a 50km distance available. Course The course along a beautiful stretch of the River Thames. It is fully signed so no navigational experience is required. The course is mainly well made paths and tarmac with a very short grass section. Road shoes are suitable all year round. Medals & Pins As long as you complete 3km, you will be an official finisher and you will receive one of our fantastic themed medals! We also have distance pins available for anyone who runs a half-marathon distance or more. Pins available to collect are our Half-Marathon, Mega-Half, Marathon, 50km and Ultra pins. You will receive one pin on the ribbon of your medal to reflect your achievement. Goody Bag Absolutely! You earned the calories after all, so all our finishers get a goody bag. As well as our standard goody bag, with a selection of various goodies to choose from, we also have a fabulous vegan goody bag for our vegan runners. Aid Table We have a fantastic aid table and drinks table at the start / finish of each lap. There is a great selection of savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items at the aid table. Special Event If our event is a special event for you, for instance your 50th, 99th, 100th, 200th, 250th etc., half or full marathon then please let us know. You will receive a special running number with your name on it and the date of the event. Venue Facilities The Last Hop has toilets but there are no separate changing facilities or showers. If you do wish to get changed, the downstairs toilets are large enough for you to change in. These facilities will be open from 8am and will be available for use throughout the entire event. Car Parking There is parking available in Bridge Street Car Park in Staines, TW18 4TP. Number pick up is on the day at race registration before the start of the event. Other Information There will be somewhere to leave a bag at the start / finish area. Starting in Mill Marsh Park the route takes you out along the Wray Valley Trail through the beautiful Parke Estate following the River Bovey. Choose from 5km to ultra marathon, you can complete as many, or as few, laps as you like of a 5.3km, 3.28 mile, out and back, course along the beautiful Wray Valley Trail. We welcome all abilities of runner - complete one lap and you're both a finisher and a winner in our eyes, or keep going and see how far you can get in the time limit and everyone gets our fabulous Launch Event medal. Circuit running welcomes you to the Rhino run, a 6 hour challenge timed event where you can run a 5k all the way up to ultra marathon within the time limit. The run is to celebrate awareness of save the rhino and the effort that Chris Green AKA Rhino Boy Chris puts into raising awareness of the save the cause, some of the proceeds of the run will go towards Chris's cause. The event will start at 9:30am and registration will open at 8:45am. The course is 3.28 miles a lap but there'll be a 5k turn point and a 10k will be 2 laps of the 5k lap, a half marathon will be 4 laps of the 3.28 miles course, 8 laps for a marathon, 9 or more for an ultra marathon. There'll be a table at the end of each lap with water, squash, fizzy drinks and a variety of different food. You can start your last lap up until 5:59:59 hrs. The course is mainly along an old railway line on a tarmac path with a small section at the start and finish of each lap on the field, the course is out and back with no navigation required. Toilets will be at the pavillion on the playing field. Parking: there is car parking in the car park at Skellingthorpe Community Centre. After finishing you'll get a bespoke Rhino themed medal and a goody bag for your efforts. We are operating our 'TUGG' system as in Turn Up Get Going, you can turn up any time between 7:30 and 14:30 BUT you have to be finished by 15:30. Absolutely all abilities of runners / walkers can take part in our events as you have 7 hours to get to the finish of your final lap, each lap is 5.3k out and back, of our scenic route on an old disused train line. It is an accurately measured course so therefore it is classified as Road, it is run entirely on tarmac. Everyone is welcome whether you are planning to walk or run, whether you finish 1 lap, 4 laps or even 14 laps in the permitted time, we would class you as finisher and a winner, and you can collect your Medal for the event. 1 lap is 5.3k so 4 laps will give you a half marathon, 8 laps will give you full marathon distance, 9 or more laps for an Ultra. Please come and have a try and see how far you can go. RUNNING GRAND PRIX AT GOODWOOD MOTOR CIRCUIT – SUNDAY 11TH OCTOBER 2026! Come and join us for this 5k,10k, half marathon, 20mile, marathon & 50k at this historic Goodwood motor circuit At the world-famous Goodwood Motor Circuit, home to the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival, you will enjoy the thrill of racing your way to a new chip-timed personal best on this smooth traffic-free tarmac motor racing circuit. Located at the foot of the Sussex Downs, the track is the only classic circuit in the world to remain entirely in its original form. Goodwood Motor Circuit originally opened its gates to the public on September 1948, to host Britain’s very first post-war motor race meeting at a permanent venue. Course The course is along a beautiful stretch of the River Wear with views of the Cathedral and is classified as a trail run. It is fully signed so no navigational experience is required. The Bath & Bristol Railway Races follow the route of the original train line from Green Park Station in Bath to Bristol Temple Meads and this route is the flattest of all the races in our calendar! The route is 100% tarmac, offering a road race like experience through the green countryside and into the heart of Bristol. The trainline was in use from 1869 - 1971 and between 1979 and 1986, Sustrans converted the railway path into whatwould become the first route on the National Cycle Network. Along the route you will find historic and active nods to the routes heritage. The Half Marathon runs out and back to Bitton Train Station, with 2.5km in each direction running alongside the Avon Valley Railway, an active heritage line that still runs on the original route today. The 25km, Marathon and 50km run alongside the Avon Valley Railway station at Bitton and onwards to Bristol, passing restored signal boxes, picturesque stations at Warmley and Mangotsfield. The 450m long Staple Hill Tunnel is on the route of the 25km, Marathon and 50km race. It is significantly larger than the tunnels at the Two Tunnels and Wye Valley Tunnel Run as the route had two railway lines running through the tunnel. The Staple Hill Tunnel is well lit.
