Autumn Challenge Day 2

Get ready for an exhilarating day of running at the Autumn Challenge Day 2, hosted by Running Events Devon on Sunday, October 11th, 2026, in the beautiful coastal town of Exmouth, Devon. This unique event invites participants of all abilities to join in the fun, with a flexible 'TUGG' (Turn Up Get Going) system that allows you to start anytime between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM, finishing by 3:30 PM. The scenic course, spanning 5.3 kilometers per lap on a well-maintained tarmac path along an old disused train line, is perfect for both runners and walkers. Whether you're aiming to complete one lap, a half marathon with four laps, or even tackle the full marathon with eight laps, everyone is welcome to challenge themselves and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow participants. With a generous seven-hour time limit, this event is all about personal achievement, and every finisher will receive a medal to commemorate their efforts. Running Events Devon would like to invite you to come and run with us. This event is being held on the 11th October 2026. We are operating our 'TUGG' system as in Turn Up Get Going, you can turn up any time between 7:30 and 14:30 BUT you have to be finished by 15:30. Absolutely all abilities of runners / walkers can take part in our events as you have 7 hours to get to the finish of your final lap, each lap is 5.3k out and back, of our scenic route on an old disused train line. It is an accurately measured course so therefore it is classified as Road, it is run entirely on tarmac. Everyone is welcome whether you are planning to walk or run, whether you finish 1 lap, 4 laps or even 14 laps in the permitted time, we would class you as finisher and a winner, and you can collect your Medal for the event. 1 lap is 5.3k so 4 laps will give you a half marathon, 8 laps will give you full marathon distance, 9 or more laps for an Ultra. Please come and have a try and see how far you can go. Places are strictly limited so please do not leave it too late to enter, if and when we reach capacity anyone entering after, will get a bespoke medal of their choice of the ones that we have with us on that day.
