Parking

Run Barns Green operates three parking areas A, B and C. Car Park A & B are by the village green but do not allow vehicles to depart until after 11.45am, if you need to leave before that time please use car park C which is at Sumners Ponds, however this should only be for 5k runners and fast finishers from the 10k. On arrival into the village there will be marshals to direct you to the car parks, please specify if you need to use car park C for early departure. Please park where directed and do not try and park in any other place. It is absolutely vital that emergency vehicles are able to access all parts of the village and the course at all times. The future of the race also relies on the goodwill of the residents so please park only in the designated car parks. The parking is free, although we do invite you to make a voluntary charitable contribution to this year’s charity, St Catherine’s Hospice

Is there a cut-off time?

The Run Barns Green races are running races in which participants should make best efforts to complete the course within 2 hours for the 10k and 3.5 hours for the half marathon. The event has a staggered road closure order in force so we can appropriately facilitate the roads reopening for business and resident access, and to protect all participants. After these times the roads will be reopened and throughout the race a sweep car will collect those at the back unable to keep up with the allotted pace; 20 minutes per mile for 10k and 16 minutes per mile for half marathon.

When will I receive my race number?
