Run Barns Green Half Marathon, 10K and 5k

Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the highly anticipated Run Barns Green Half Marathon, 10K, and brand new 5K event! Scheduled for Sunday, September 27, 2026, in the picturesque town of Horsham, West Sussex, this event promises to be one of the best-loved and highest-rated races in the south. The day kicks off with the 5K race at 9:50 AM, followed by the Half Marathon at 10:10 AM, and the 10K race at 10:30 AM. Don’t forget about the Kids Colour Run at around 12:30 PM, perfect for children aged 4-11! Organised by the dedicated team at Run Barns Green Half Marathon, 10K and new 5K, this award-winning event is entirely run by volunteers who are passionate about delivering an exceptional race experience. Join us for one of the best-loved and highest rated half marathon, 10K and 5k events in the south. Our next race day is Sunday 27th September 2026 and we’d love to see you on that start line! The 5K race will start at 9.50am, the Half Marathon will start at 10.10am and the 10K race will start at 10.30. We also have the Kids colour run at around 12.30pm for 4-11 year olds. All the senior races are run on closed roads and have chip timing, warm-up sessions, pacers, and gold, silver and bronze medals for all finishers. There are plenty of water stations on the 10K and half marathon routes and loads of food & beverage options at the end. The car parking is free and there are some stunning views of the Sussex countryside on the way round. There is a professional warm up for all 4 races. Our road closures begin at 9.30am so please make sure you get to Barns Green early on race day. This award winning event is organised entirely by volunteers and relies on the loyalty and commitment of the committee who work tirelessly to maintain and improve the standards of the races each year.
