A loop around the town, starting at the historic Market Square, following the line of the river past Northampton’s three main sporting grounds; Sixfields stadium (football), Franklin’s Gardens (rugby) and The County Ground (cricket), through three beautiful parks, passing through the modern University campus and returning to the Market Square. And yes it’s true there are 31 steps on the route!
