Join us for our winter edition as you help us find a home for any leftover medals that we have! We hate having waste, especially when it comes to medals. We try in the first instance to not order more than we need, but despite accounting for everything we still have no shows on event days which means they cannot earn their medal. So, to try and find homes for these leftover medals we are holding a medal madness event to end out the year at Shipley Country Park. The entry fee will be smaller as we do not have to order medals for the event. The setup will be the same as our 6-hour runs and once you finish you shall receive a random medal from our collection. The aim for our events is to organize races as if I was taking part, so you can expect amazing support, the best medals, and a small group of runners that is never any more than 150. Think of it as a small group of friends and family all coming together for an amazing day of running! There is a time limit of 6 hours for this event. This means that you need to have completed your final lap before the end of the 6 hours for it to be counted towards your final distance. Each lap will be 5.59km long with a total elevation gain of just 80 meters for each loop. This means that if you complete 4 laps you have run a half marathon, 8 laps, a full marathon and 9 laps or more will be classed as an Ultra. You can finish your event at any time within the six hours, and as long as you have completed one lap then you will be classed as a finisher. Venue Opens: 8am Race Registration: 8.15am Pre-race briefing: 8.55am Start Time: 9am No set distance, just go!
