Winter along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal with the Frostbite Sir Titus Trot Wrap up warm and join us this winter for the Frostbite Sir Titus Trot – a proper seasonal run along the Leeds & Liverpool Canal. Expect crisp air, frosty towpaths and that unmistakable Grim atmosphere! With distances ranging from 10K to Marathon, all along the flat (well… nearly flat), even (well… nearly even) towpath, this event is perfect for runners of all abilities – from first-time runners to ultra distance warriors chasing winter PBs. This is one of our most popular events and sells out quickly, so don’t hang about Event Details - Elevation: Flat - Terrain: Good Trail (can be icy/slippy in places – take care!) - Feed/Drink Stations: Every ~3 miles - Course: Fully marshalled and signed - Facilities: Canal-side loos at start/finish - Finishers: Bespoke medal & plenty of treats (yes… still lots!) Registration opens from 8:00am (Allow at least 1 hour for parking, registration & loos) - 10K – 10:00am - 10 Miler – 8:30am - Half Marathon – 9:00am - 20 Miler (2 x 10 mile laps) – 8:30am - Marathon (2 x half laps) – 8:30am Winter Race Notes Dress for the conditions – layers, gloves, hats recommended Towpaths may be icy/slippy in places – take care underfoot Cup-less event – bring your own reusable cup/bottle Headphones: - No large over-ear headphones - If needed: bone conduction or “one in, one out” only - Some road crossings may be unmanned – stay alert Transfers & Deferrals You can manage transfers via the website.
