10 Mile Events

Introducing our 'Phoenix Kingfisher Run', with a brand new medal - the next in our epic series of giant spinning medals. This event will be hosted from the Cyclopark in Kent with its brilliant facilities and is certified as 'road' on a measured route. This is one of our timed events where you choose - from 5 miles to 10 miles, half to marathon to ultra, you can complete as many, or as few, laps as you like of an 8.5 km, 5.25 mile, out and back, course around the tarmac tracks near the Cyclopark. We welcome all abilities of runner - complete one lap and you're both a finisher and a winner in our eyes, or keep going and see how far you can get in the full 7 hour time limit and everyone gets the fabulous bespoke finishers' medal. Whilst Phoenix Running is very much about the bling and our medals are second to none, we're also acutely conscious that events can be expensive to enter and times are tough right now. We're now in our 13th year of fixed prices for our standard themed events, but to try and do our bit we're trailing a 'no medal' entry option at a flat £22. We cover our base costs, you get a run with all the usual Phoenix support, epic aid station, same day results published, athletes profiles, Phoenix World, digital BIBs, digital finishers certificates, etc, etc but without a medal we can keep the price low for this entry option. Not sure? Well the beauty of this format is that you don't even need to decide in advance - simply come and run a lap and see how you feel on the day and keep on going if it feels right. Places will be strictly limited so don't leave it too late to enter. Minimum distance is 5.25 miles or as far as you can go in 7 hours. Road - undulating, smooth tarmac.

It's NOT the LONDON Marathon Run AGAIN in 2026! Didn't get into the London Marathon, then why not come and run with us instead and earn one of our monster-sized medals? Phoenix Running are doing our bit to keep you running by hosting our NOT the London Marathon Run - AGAIN, again, again, again in 2026. So if you want to run your NOT London Marathon amongst friends then this one is for you. Or, perhaps you got a place in the virtual version of the London Marathon and fancy coming to run your event on a measured route at an organised event with an epic aid station and awesome bling. If you sign up for our event then you can even wear your actual London Marathon Virtual BIB on our route and we'll publish that BIB number for you in our results - how cool is that. Our Walton on Thames route is an accurately measured & UKA certified route - Certificate No: 18/340. This is a beautiful low key jaunt along the River Thames where runners complete 8 identical laps for the marathon distance and 4 laps for the Half Marathon, but remember - it's NOT just the London Marathon or Half because our event is also a 7 hour timed event where you can complete as many or as few laps of a 3.28 mile lap as you like so you can also run shorter distances than a half marathon or longer than a marathon. You've trained hard - you want to run! So come and run with us on Sunday 26th April - spaces will be very limited and this event will have flexible early starts available from 07.00am. Our NOT London medal is a real beast at 150mm! Minimum distance is 3.28 miles or as far as you can go in 7 hours. Off road trail, the terrain is riverside towpath. The overall course has no elevation gain / loss making this a flat and fast route.
