The Jarrow 10K features a flat, fully measured course that is perfect for runners looking to achieve personal bests. Starting and finishing at the Monkton Athletics Track, participants will enjoy a road-closed, two-lap route that ensures a smooth and fast experience. With start times set at 9:00 am for the competitive A-Race and 9:15 am for the B-Race, followed by a Junior Race at 10:45 am, there’s something for everyone. Expect a vibrant atmosphere filled with enthusiastic supporters and fellow runners as you tackle this exciting challenge. Each finisher will receive a medal, and category prizes will be awarded to recognize outstanding performances. In partnership with Jarrow and Hebburn Athletics Club, the Jarrow 10K starts and finishes on Monkton Athletics Track and features a flat, fully measured course that rewards smooth pacing and strong finishes. Expect efficient delivery, a friendly club atmosphere, and great support around the route. The race follows a road-closed, two-lap design that keeps things simple and fast. You will roll out from the track, settle into rhythm on wide tarmac sections, and return to the stadium for a roaring finish. All finishers receive a medal, and category prizes recognise top performances. The Jarrow 10K forms part of our Top Flight Race Series. It attracts some of the UK’s leading athletes and creates a fantastic racing spectacle while remaining welcoming for developing club runners and newcomers to the distance.
