Winchester 10K

Get ready for an exciting day of running at the Winchester 10K, organized by Challenging Events! This vibrant race will take place on Sunday, 21st February 2027, starting from the historic Winchester Guildhall, home to the iconic King Alfred Statue. Runners will embark on a scenic one-lap closed road route that combines the best of urban and countryside parkland, heading out towards the charming village of Kingsworthy and returning through Headbourne Worthy. With an expected turnout of over 1,500 participants, the atmosphere promises to be electric! Whether you're a seasoned runner or a first-time participant, the Winchester 10K offers chip timing, an awesome finisher medal, and a supportive community that cheers everyone on. WINCHESTER 10K Sunday 21st February 2027 | Winchester Guildhall | 2026 Event pack - for info only The Winchester 10km Road Race started back in 1983 as a 10-mile distance. The race adopted the popular 10km format in the late 1980's.   The race will feature a 1 lap closed road route starting outside the historic Winchester Guildhall in The Broadway. The start is in front of the impressive King Alfred Statue. The route heads up St George's Street before going out towards the village of Kingsworthy. The return leg passes through the village of Headbourne Worthy and back towards Winchester before finishing at The North Walls Recreation Centre. The route is a mix of urban and countryside parkland.  It's a super city centre vibe 10K with over 1500 runners making it a super atmosphere! The entry fee includes chip timing and an awesome finisher medal. *No medal option available also* "A very well-organised event.
