Join us on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at the stunning Piglove By The River in Leeds, located in Citu’s Climate Innovation District. This exciting race offers participants a choice between a fast and flat 5km route along the scenic Trans Pennine Trail and a 10km course that showcases the beautiful riverside landscapes. With a registration opening at 18:00 and the race kicking off at 19:00, there’s plenty of time to soak in the vibrant atmosphere. After crossing the finish line, enjoy a refreshing drink courtesy of Piglove Brewing Co while relaxing in the lovely beer garden with picturesque views. With a maximum entry limit of 150 runners and a minimum age requirement of 18, this event promises a cozy yet exhilarating experience for all involved. Don’t forget to bring your headtorch for our Autumn "By Night" event, and be sure to plan a sustainable journey to race HQ. Come join us for our evening event at the amazing Piglove By The River. A lovely beer garden in the heart of Citu’s Climate Innovation District, where you can grab a picnic bench and admire the views with a pint of Piglove Brewing Co’s creative craft brews after you’ve run the race of course. It’s the perfect spot for sunny evenings. RACE DETAILS Race HQ Piglove By The River, Clarence Rd, Leeds LS10 1EE Distance 10km / 5km Elevation 193m / 633ft Terrain public footpaths / riverside trails / tarmac paths Registration From 18:00 Race Start 19:00 Entry Limit 150 Minimum Age 18 THE COURSE 5km - The race starts at Piglove and follows the Trans Pennine Trail for 2.5km and turns around just before Thwaite Mills. This is a very fast and flat course with very good quality footpath conditions. 10km (BST) - This Follows the same path as the 5km but continues past Thwaite Mills and then gets ever so slightly more rugged but is still very good fast running conditions. As it follows the river it is incredibly flat, however, there is one small bridge with steps that must be crossed. 10km (GMT) - The night 10km route will be double the 5km route, turning round at 2.5km just before Thwaite Mills. Both turnaround points will be clearly marked and marshalled. FACILITIES Race HQ Toilets Bag Storage WHAT’S INCLUDED All finishers will receive a drink courtesy of Piglove Brewery. All medals and tees are sold as optional extras upon entry. This is to reduce our impact on the environment, and to make our races more affordable for everyone. MANDATORY KIT Headtorches are required for our Autumn "By Night" event. Depending on whether we might make some gear mandatory, however, this is unlikely.
