Join us for the exciting Boxing Day Challenge on Saturday, December 26th, 2026, hosted by CIRCUIT RUNNING EVENTS LIMITED in the picturesque town of Egham, Surrey! This fantastic event invites runners of all levels to take on an exhilarating out-and-back course along the beautiful River Thames. Whether you're aiming for a 5K or challenging yourself to an ultra-marathon, the Boxing Day Challenge offers a flexible and fun atmosphere to keep you moving after the holiday festivities. Starting at 7 AM with registration opening at 6:30 AM, participants can run for a full six hours, tackling distances from 5K up to ultra-marathon within the time limit. Runners who begin before 8 AM will need to bring a head torch to light their way. Each participant will receive a bespoke medal and a goody bag upon completion, and there will be plenty of refreshments available at the aid table after each lap. Toilets and changing facilities will be provided at the rowing club, and ample parking will be available at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds. About this event

Welcome to CIRCUIT RUNNING we look forward to welcoming you to our Boxing day challenge. Start time 7am registration 6:30am, if your starting before 8am you'll have to bring a head torch to run. Course:  The route will be an out and back 3.28 miles course along the river thames, if your wanting to run a 5k there be a earlier turn point also if you're wanting a 10k it'll be doing the 5k lap twice. The boxing day challenge will be a 6 hour challenge where you can run from a 5k all the way up to ultra marathon within the time limit you can start a last lap up to 5:59:59 hrs. What do I get for taking part: After finishing you'll receive a bespoke medal and a goody bag. Toilet facilities:  Toilets and changing facilities will be available at the rowing club.  Baggage storage:  There won't be an official bag drop you can leave bags next to the start finish line but is unmanned meaning items are left at participants own risk.  Parking: There is a large amount of parking on site at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds, but it unfortunately you'll have to pay to park. Aid table: At the end of each lap there'll be a aid table with water, squash, fizzy drinks and a variety of different food. Please be considerate to other path users with our event being held on a public footpath.
