Bumble Bee Challenge Day 1

Get ready for an exciting day of running at the Bumble Bee Challenge, hosted by Running Events Devon on Saturday, September 26th, 2026, in the beautiful coastal town of Exmouth, Devon! This unique event invites runners and walkers of all abilities to join in the fun along a scenic, accurately measured 5.3k out-and-back course on a former train line. With the 'TUGG' system—Turn Up Get Going—you can arrive any time between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM and complete as many laps as you can within the 7-hour time limit. Whether you're aiming for a leisurely stroll, a half marathon with 4 laps, a full marathon with 8 laps, or even an ultra with 9 or more laps, everyone is welcome! All participants will earn a medal for their efforts, celebrating every finish as a victory. With places strictly limited, don’t miss your chance to be part of this fantastic event. Running Events Devon would like to invite you to come and run with us. This event is being held on the 26th September 2026. We are operating our 'TUGG' system as in Turn Up Get Going, you can turn up any time between 7:30 and 14:30 BUT you have to be finished by 15:30. Absolutely all abilities of runners / walkers can take part in our events as you have 7 hours to get to the finish of your final lap, each lap is 5.3k out and back, of our scenic route on an old disused train line. It is an accurately measured course so therefore it is classified as Road, it is run entirely on tarmac. Everyone is welcome whether you are planning to walk or run, whether you finish 1 lap, 4 laps or even 14 laps in the permitted time, we would class you as finisher and a winner, and you can collect your Medal for the event. 1 lap is 5.3k so 4 laps will give you a half marathon, 8 laps will give you full marathon distance, 9 or more laps for an Ultra.
