The Kettering Christmas 10k & 5k

Get ready to jingle all the way at The Kettering Christmas 10k & 5k, hosted by GBR Run on Sunday, December 13, 2026! Taking place at the beautiful Wicksteed Park in Kettering, Northamptonshire, this festive running event is the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season while staying active. Participants can choose from a variety of distances, including a 10k, 5k, and 3k, along with a special Kids Dash for the little ones aged 2-5. With race start times kicking off at 9:45 AM for the Kids Dash and 10:00 AM for the 3k, followed by the 10k and 5k at 10:30 AM, there’s fun for the whole family. This event promises a joyful atmosphere filled with Christmas spirit, complete with chip timing, bespoke medals, and festive goodies awaiting finishers. Not only will the top three male and female finishers in each distance be awarded trophies, but there are also age category prizes for the 10k runners. Start times: Kids Dash – 9.45am / 3k – 10.00am / 10k & 5k – 10.30 am Come dressed to impress Santa and join GBR Run for the return of this Christmas themed event at the picturesque Wicksteed Park! We will have a range of distances taking place in and around the grounds of Wicksteed Park. Plus with 10km, 5km and 3km distances, and the Kids Dash, there is something for everyone, including the children. ‍ This will be a Chip timed event, with a bespoke Medal and christmas goodies at the finish. The overall top 3 male and female finishers for each distance will be awarded trophies, as well as the following age group categories for the 10k only: ‍ 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ Age categories are based upon age at day of race. Top three finishers will be excluded from age category prizes. P‍rizes will also be on offer for best dressed!  Our running events appeal to all abilities - from social runners taking the plunge into their first race, to some of the best local athletes. We strive to create an environment where all runners are encouraged to achieve their personal goals, no matter what their ability.
