Getting there
The Meadows is located close to Edinburgh city centre and is easily accessible by public transport, car, bike, or on foot. The event village and start/finish area will be based within the park, creating a central and vibrant atmosphere for runners and spectators alike. By Bus: Regular Lothian Bus services operate throughout the surrounding area, with multiple stops located just a short walk from The Meadows. By Train: Edinburgh Waverley and Haymarket stations are both within easy reach via public transport, taxi, cycling, or a short walk from the city centre. By Car: The Meadows can be accessed via surrounding city centre routes; however, parking in the area is limited and can be busy, particularly on summer evenings. Participants are encouraged to arrive early and consider using public transport or car sharing where possible. By Bike & Foot: The park is well connected to Edinburgh’s walking and cycling network, with easy access from surrounding neighbourhoods and the city centre. Bike parking will be available within the event village area. Please allow additional travel time on race evening and follow all event signage and marshal instructions on arrival.
Parking
Limited parking is available around The Meadows and surrounding city centre streets; however, spaces can be extremely busy on event evening, particularly during summer months. Participants are strongly encouraged to use public transport, walk, cycle, or car share where possible. Please park responsibly and avoid blocking residential access, driveways, cycle lanes, or restricted areas. There is no dedicated event car park onsite, and many nearby streets may operate controlled parking zones or permit restrictions.
