Getting there

To get to Lytham Windmill in Lytham St Annes, follow these steps: By Car: From Preston (North): Head southwest on the A583. Continue on the A584 towards Lytham. As you approach Lytham, follow signs for the Promenade. From Blackpool (North): Take the A584 along the coast heading south towards Lytham. Continue following signs for Lytham and then the Promenade. From M55 (East): Exit the M55 at junction 4, take the A583 exit to Blackpool. Follow the A583 and then the A5230. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Progress Way/A5230. Continue on the A5230, take the exit toward Lytham St Annes. Follow signs for the A584 to Lytham. By Public Transport: From Blackpool: Take the train from Blackpool South to Lytham. Walk from Lytham train station to the Windmill (approximately 10-15 minutes walk). From Preston: Take the train from Preston to Lytham. Walk from Lytham train station to the Windmill (approximately 10-15 minutes walk). On Foot: If you are already in Lytham, head towards the coast. Walk along the Promenade until you reach Lytham Windmill, which is located near Lytham Green. Key Points of Interest: Lytham Windmill is a prominent landmark on the Lytham Green. Look for signs for Lytham Promenade and Green; the windmill is situated on the edge of the Green, facing the estuary.
