Running Running Events in York 2026–2027

MoRunning brings everyday people together with our focus being to inspire you, your family, your kids and your friends to have the best time running! When you MoRun you will be inspired to acheive your goals, you will run with a smile on your face, you will meet incredible people and in turn help us raise awareness and fundraising for our partner charity Movember. Take on our 5k MoRun, 10k MoRun or step up the challenge and give our Half Marathon a go! Let's not forget the kids as they can now take on our fully race chipped 1.5k Mini MoRun. Let's MOVE for Movember and make this November the biggest ever month that MoBro's, MoSista's and Mini MoRunners come together across the country. It's time to CREATE MEMORIES!

CIRCUIT RUNNING welcomes you to our inaugural event here at the University of York. With this being a 6 hour challenge everyone is welcome at our events whether you run or walk. The event will start at 9:40am and registration will open at 9:10am.  The course is 2.2 miles long 1.1 out and back along the footpaths around the university, there is a small incline in the middle of the out and back.The course is predominantly on a tarmac path with a small grass section at the start/finish of each lap. There will be a mini lap for those doing 5k and 10k. 6 laps is a half marathon, 12 laps for a marathon and 13 plus for an ultra marathon There'll be a aid table at the end of each lap with water, squash, fizzy drinks and a variety of different foods like sweets, biscuits plus lots more for you to help yourself to every time you pass the aid table. You can start your last lap up until 5:59:59 hrs. Toilets will be at the York Sport Centre. After finishing you'll receive a bespoke medal and a 5 piece goody bag for your hard earned effort.
