Andover Trail Marathon

Choose between the exhilarating 26.2-mile marathon or the challenging 13.1-mile half marathon, both offering thigh-burning climbs and breathtaking views of meadows and valleys. The marathon route takes you along the stunning Testway, reaching the highest point in Hampshire at Coombe Gibbet before winding back through the picturesque Conholt estate and charming villages. For those in the Armed Forces, don’t miss the chance to compete in the Military Cup, where teams of four can race for glory and silverware! With generous cut-off times, fully stocked aid stations, and a family-friendly atmosphere, this event promises to cater to everyone from seasoned runners seeking personal bests to those looking for a tough challenge. Plus, all finishers will receive medals, and prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female runners. A very popular Marathon and Half Marathon back offering you everything North Hampshire has to offer. Thigh burning climbs with a maximum elevation of 280 m. Long fast down hill sections taking in the views of the beautiful meadows and valleys.  This event also has the Military cup. An oportunity for military units to compete for the silverware. Open to serving military personel only. Enter a team of 4 runners max per team from your unit (As many teams as you want.). Compete in the half or the marathon as a team agaisnt other teams entered. the unit with the fasted acumilated time wins the silverwear. ​TIMES. Car park opens at 0630 hrs. Marathon race briefing at 0745 hrs. Marathon starts at 0800 hrs. 7 hr cut off. Half Marathon Race briefing at 0815 hrs. Half marathon starts at 0830 hrs. 3.5 hr cut off. ​ROUTE. Marathon. 26.2 miles following the Testway up to Coombe Gibbet, the highest point in Hampshire then following the stunning tracks back to Enham through the beautiful Conholt estate and picturesque villages. Half Marathon. 13.1 mile loop following the Testway up to Hurstbourne Tarrant, then follow the stunning tracks back down to Enham. The team will be out the day before fully marking the course. ​WHAT YOU GET. Marathon. Three amazing aid stations fully stacked with all the goodies you could possibly need. Half Marathon. An amazing half way aid station fully stocked with all the goodies you could possibly need, marshalled major road crossings. full medical support along the whole route you will be looked after all the way. A perfect race for those more seasoned runners looking for a Pb and great for those looking for a challenge with generous cut offs and a chilled out family atmosphere to ensure you have a fantastic running experience. Finisher medals for all that complete the event with winner prizes for first, second and third male and female.  This event will be chip timed for instant results.
