About this event

This is the sign up page for Day two of our two day weekend takeover! These stunning grounds steeped with history is the most popular National trust site in the country and for good reason. We’ll be bringing our six hour challenge along for you to complete as many loops as you can manage or maybe just enjoy the one loop, the choice is yours and anyone that makes it around will receive a top quality medal to add to their collection! Explore the iconic grounds on day one then take on the route in reverse on the Sunday!

Getting there

Directional Notes – Access to Clumber park from the A614 or the B6034 onto either end of Limetree avenue. Clumber park is located halfway between these two roads. Keep an eye out for signage and marshals pointing towards race parking in the overflow carparks. Google maps lists the area as ‘Clumber Park Cricket Club 2nd Ground. Public Transport – The nearest Train Stations are Worksop ~4 miles north or Retford ~6 miles North East. Stagecoach provide a service called the Sherwood Arrow which will run from Worksop south through to Nottingham. Taking this bus down to ‘Lake View Cottages’ will land you within walking distance of Clumber park (roughly 15 minutes walk).

Parking

Parking – Parking is to be confirmed at a later date as the cost of parking is included in site admission. A solution to this is in the works.

Age Restrictions

Unfortunately, we do not allow under 12’s to participate in any live event. If you are between the ages of 12 and 18 then we will need a parent or guardian to contact us before signing up so that we can advise them on how to register your place. Even though we are not a part of the UKA we still abide by their rules which means that the following ages are limited to the following distances. Over 12 years – under 14 years – 5,000 metres Over 14 years – under 16 years – 6,000 metres Over 16 years – under 17 years – 10,000 metres Over 17 years – under 18 years – 25,000 metres Over 18 years – under 20 years – 45,000 metres

Will there be first aid at this event?

We will not have a dedicated first aid team at this event although we will have a fully stocked first aid kit alongside a volunteer who has their basic first aid training.
