Run Media City Christmas 5k & 10k

The race kicks off at 9:30 AM for both distances, and with a flat and quick course, it's perfect for runners of all abilities. The 5k involves two laps, while the 10k includes four laps, ensuring an exhilarating experience for everyone. Each kilometre will be clearly marked, and enthusiastic volunteers will be there to cheer you on as you race toward the finish line. Come and join us for our next event in the 2025 Run Media City 5K & 10K on Saturday 19th December 2026 Starting and finishing in the centre of Media City you will head out around a 2.5km loop that runs over the canal and runs past the imperial war museum along with the ITV and BBC television studios. Start Times: 5k - 9:30am 10k - 9.30am The race involves laps, the course is flat and quick. There will be 2 lap for the 5k, 4 laps for the 10k. The course follows the paths and pavements inside the centre of media city. This is not a closed road race. Each kilometre will be accurately marked out and we have plenty of helpers to encourage you on your way to the finish line.
