The course
Full Marathon If you choose this challenge, you will face 42 km in the heart of Cappadocia. Half Marathon If you choose this option, you will run the last 21 km of the marathon 10 K The Cappadocia Marathon also gives you the option of completing just a 10 km. Cappadocia Marathon technical Information To ensure you have the best possible experience, we provide all the technical information you need to know before you take part in the Cappadocia Marathon Turkey. 850 Positive elevation 850 Negative elevation 30 Single track in % 70 Dirt road % The International Trail Running Association gives 2 points for completing this challenge. The circuit travels through the most iconic of Cappadocia; canyons, valleys, caved towns…The race runs circular in clockwise. The accumulated elevation will be: 850 m (full), 350 m (half) and 120 m (10 k). Maximum altitude will be 1450 m in the marathon, 1200 m in the half marathon and approximately 1200 m in the 10 k. Previously there will be several days of training as contact with the terrain and acclimatization. The surface is a mixture of dirt tracks and single tracks in a steppe terrain. Trail running shoes are recommended. The accumulated elevation is easily affordable with a minimum of previous training.
