The Huddersfield Hurtle

Get ready for an exhilarating day of outdoor fun at The Huddersfield Hurtle, taking place on Saturday, February 13, 2027! Organized by It's Grim up North Running, this fantastic event will be held along the picturesque Leeds to Liverpool Canal, featuring a flat, out-and-back route perfect for runners of all abilities. Participants can choose from a variety of race distances, including a 10K starting at 10:00 AM, a Half Marathon at 9:00 AM, a 5K kick-off at 8:30 AM, and a challenging Marathon consisting of two half laps, also beginning at 8:30 AM. The Huddersfield Hurtle promises a well-supported experience with fully marshalled and signed courses, as well as feed and drink stations approximately every three miles to keep you energized. While the terrain is generally good, runners should take care as some sections may be icy or slippery. All finishers will be rewarded with bespoke medals and an abundance of treats, making this event a must-attend for trail running enthusiasts!
