The Other Run - 5k, 10k, Half, Full and Ultra marathon

Join us for a mass start at 9 AM and take on the officially measured Kirtling Marathon route, known for its mild undulations and breathtaking views. The half marathon will feature a single loop on the picturesque Windmill Route, while shorter distances will provide a fun turnaround point for those seeking a lighter challenge. Enjoy well-stocked aid stations every 10k, and don't forget to bring your own reusable bottles or cups, as this event has gone cupless! Attendees will receive a bespoke medal, and the chance to purchase a commemorative T-shirt in the Zig Zag Running shop. The  Other Run To be held on the same day as the London Marathon but giving you the varied options - 5k, 10k, half or full marathon distance. Perhaps you missed out on the ballot and want to come run this with us, earn your virtual London and of course add a Zig Zag one to your collection. Come and join us at our exclusive venue at Suffolk Running Centre, Church Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 5AX It's a seven-hour cut off and a mass start at 9am We will be utilizing the Kirtling Route for the Marathon distance. The Kirtling Marathon route is is an officially measured route, which is fully on road, mildly undulating and very scenic,  http://coursemeasurement.org.uk/detail.php?area=South&no=2018527 The half marathon will also be one loop and we will be using the Windmill Route.   There will be a 5k and 10k turnaround point for those wanting to do a shorter distance. There will be an aid station of drinks and nibbles every 10k. Parking is also included in your entry price.  We have designed a Bespoke medal for the event, which you will receive at the end of the race.   Or if you choose the lucky dip finisher option (if available), you will choose from a selection of previous or finisher medal. This route is all road, they are quiet roads however, you will need to be aware of traffic when stepping out and ideally wear something bright This event is ideal for runners who want to get a marathon GFA place when selecting Marathon distance. ***Please note the event has gone cupless - so please bring your own bottles or cups for refilling *** A T-shirt to accompany this event can be purchased directly in our Zig Zag Running shop.
