The race will take participants on a scenic route around the charming village of Matfen, incorporating the well-loved Matfen 10k path along with an additional smaller loop. Runners will finish strong on the village by-pass, just a stone's throw away from the start area. The BIG 10 Miler is a popular 10 mile race with both club and non club runners in the North East. The North East's largest 10 miler, following the 2021 move, this years event will also be on the route around the village of Matfen. For those of you who know our Matfen 10k, the route will be familiar and takes in the 10k route plus an additional smaller loop, finishing on the village by-pass near the start area.
