Get ready for an exhilarating weekend at Farmmageddon, organized by Zig Zag Running! This exciting endurance challenge returns for its third year, taking place from Saturday, May 29th to Sunday, May 30th, 2027, in the picturesque setting of Buntingford, Hertfordshire. Participants can choose from a variety of race distances, including the ultimate 100-mile challenge, all set against the scenic backdrop of Hyde Hall Farm. Farmmageddon promises an epic experience for runners of all abilities, with a well-organized 5.3k loop course that ensures plenty of support along the way. Enjoy the convenience of an aid station at each lap point, where you'll find refreshments and encouragement. Runners completing the 100-mile distance will earn a special t-shirt and a unique buckle, while those opting for shorter distances will receive a memorable medal. With secure on-site parking and a dedicated baggage area, all you need to do is focus on the race and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow participants. BACK FOR ITS 3rd YEAR! - The endurance weekend of challenge! Farmmageddon will be a 100 mile event held over 2 days from the lovely venue of Hyde Hall Farm, SG9 0RU This 100 mile event will be held over a 32 hour time period and will be one of many distance options available for participants. An epic challenge event for all abilities. The route will be a 5.3k loop Those completing the 100 mile distance will receive a t-shirt and a buckle. (if ordered before the deadline) Those completing any other distance signed up for, will receive a Farmmageddon medal or choose one of the other Hyde Hall Event medals. There will be a water, aid station located at the lap point so no stress of having to carry lots of food, water or equipment. Parking is also included and secure on site.          We will have a parking attendant showing you to park who will assist in directing you to the start point to collect your race number.           There will be a Bespoke medal for the event, which you will receive at the end of the race.   Or if you choose the lucky dip option (if an available option), you will choose from a selection of previous medals. The course is a trail event and contains some tarmac paths, grassland and trail.   We will have a baggage area where you can leave warm clothes and shoes for when you complete your distance.          * Please note the cut off for receiving a 100 miler finisher t-shirt is 21.3.27 - after this time you will receive just the 100 mile buckle on the completion day.   PLEASE NOTE THE EVENT IS CUPLESS - SO please bring cups and bottles for refreshment refilling
