The Wensum Way Trail - 5k,10k, Half Marathon, Full Marathon & Ultra

Organised by Zig Zag Running, this event offers a fantastic range of race distances, including 5k, 10k, Half Marathon, Full Marathon, and even an Ultra Marathon, catering to runners of all abilities. With start times at 9 AM for the longer events and 11 AM for the 5k, participants can immerse themselves in the stunning landscape while pushing their limits. As you navigate the beautiful 5.3k out-and-back course, you'll experience a delightful mix of tarmac paths, grasslands, and rugged trails, making every step a unique adventure. The Wensum Way Trail With start times at 9AM (6-hour event) and 11AM (4-hour event), you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the stunning route, push your limits, and, of course, earn your race bling! Once you cross the finish line, reward yourself with a complimentary coffee and cake while soaking in the atmosphere. An aid station will be conveniently located at base camp, so there's no need to carry excess food or water—just focus on your run and enjoy the journey! The course will be an out and back 5.3k route. A heavy half marathon as standard will be 5 laps (but there is the option to change this on the day to 6 or 7).  An ultra marathon as standard will be 9 laps (but there is the option to increase this, according to time available e.g. upto 12 laps) Entry Perks & Course Details - Parking is included in your race entry—no extra hassle. - All finishers will receive a bespoke medal for the event. Opt for the Lucky Dip option (if available), and you can choose from a selection of previous medals. - The course is a trail run, featuring a mix of tarmac paths, grasslands, and rugged trails—perfect for those who love a bit of variety!  The event encompasses the "Wensum Way" within the park.
