The course
27K and Up & Down Race - Both races are unique challenges taking runners over the Aare River that joins Lake Thun to Lake Brienz then up vertically into the terrain around the Harderkulm, a stunning viewpoint offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes, including the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains, as well as both Lakes. The running is technical and engaged with some faster sections on the descents. The 50K route sees the 27K extend into the gorgeous rolling valley of the Beatenberg area, where you’ll run alongside Lake Thun and through mountainous River gorges.

Getting there
Interlaken has exceptional national and international transport links. Every half an hour you have train connections from and to Bern, Zürich, Geneva and Basel. It also has first-class public transport links to Switzerland’s airports and a number of European cities, including Paris, Berlin, Vienna and Milan. It’s also easy to get there by car. Interlaken is well signposted from the Swiss autobahn network, which has excellent connections to Europe’s key centres.

RunThrough Trails is not organising race parking, there are many options in Interlaken - Multiple above ground / covered options in town - pay & display with most common phone apps.
