The Scary Scamper

Join us for The Scary Scamper, an exciting Halloween-themed race organized by Every Mile Counts, taking place on Tuesday, October 20th, 2026, in the picturesque town of Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire. This unique event offers participants the freedom to choose their target distance, whether it be a fun 5k, a challenging 10k, a Half Marathon, a full Marathon, or even an Ultra, all within a generous 7-hour time limit. The Scary Scamper is perfect for both walkers and runners, set against a tough off-road course that will keep your adrenaline pumping. As part of the Halloween Series, you'll earn one of our fabulous themed medals, such as ‘The Witches Whisk’ or ‘The Zombie Shuffle’! Can't make it to the event in person? Don’t worry! You can participate virtually from anywhere in the world, giving you the flexibility to enjoy the thrill of the race at your convenience. The Scary Scamper is part of our Halloween Series of races: For 2026 you have 7 hours to complete your target distance. You choose your target distance – 5k (2 laps), 10k, Half Marathon, Marathon or Ultra. But your time limit is 7 hours. Suitable for walkers or runners. Tough off-road course (see tab section).
