Participants can choose from a flexible range of distances, starting with a 2.62-mile out-and-back route, with options to run up to a full Marathon or even an Ultra within a generous 7-hour time limit. The event kicks off officially at 8:00 AM, but with our unique rock up and run start times, you can begin anytime until 1:00 PM, allowing you to run at your own pace and comfort. With a fantastic aid station offering a variety of sweet and savory snacks, including beloved signature potatoes and vegan options, you'll be fueled for your journey. Plus, every finisher receives a bespoke medal, celebrating your achievement. Phoenix Running is inviting you to join us along The Itchen Way in Winchester for our Phoenix Running Hampshire event 'Summer Feisty Phoenix Day 1'.  This course has been professionally measured and has a Road Permit for this event..  So, if you need a 'Road Marathon', or simply want to run on a beautiful smooth course without getting your trainers all muddy, then please join us.  It's always a party with Phoenix. The course is an out/back along the beautiful Itchen Way, crossing over the Hockley Viaduct, and back.  This is one of our timed events where you choose from one 2.62 mile out/back, to as many as you wish in 7 hours.  Five for a Half Marathon, ten for a Marathon, and eleven or more for an Ultra. There's no need to decide how far you're going to run in advance, see how you feel on the day and then decide. We welcome all abilities of runners - complete one lap and you're a winner in our eyes or keep going and see how far you can get in the full 7 hour time limit and everyone gets the fabulous bespoke finisher's medal. Our aid station is also famous for all its sweet and savoury goodies and signature POTATOES, we will always provide plenty of Vegan options too, so you won't go hungry! We operate our uniquely flexible rock up and run start times, so no waiting around if you arrive early and no added pressure if you're running a bit late.  The official start time is at 0800, but you are welcome to start anytime up till 1300.  Give yourself plenty of time to complete the distance of your choice, as the course will close at 1500.  The event will be based by the Garnier Road Car Park, with ample parking available a short 3 - 4 minute walk away at the St. Catherine's Park & Ride. Places will be strictly limited so don't leave it too late to enter.
