Haughley Festival of Running - 5K,10K, HALF MARATHON, FULL MARATHON & ULTRA-MARATHON

With exclusive access to the event venue, you'll enjoy a supportive atmosphere, complete with a well-marked course and ample aid stations. The options for the Half Marathon and Ultra-Marathon allow for flexibility, ensuring you can tailor your race to your preferences. Plus, each participant will receive a bespoke medal to commemorate their achievement! Back for its 5th year - Haughley Festival of Running Come and join us at our exclusive venue at Haughley Park, Suffolk, IP14 3JY (parking IP30 9RS) At our Festival of Running, you will join like-minded runners doing different distances. Options include 5k, 10k, Half Marathon, Full Marathon or Ultra Marathon. There is a six-hour event cut off, (if you start at 9am, and 4hour event cut off if you start at 11am) .   A heavy half marathon as standard will be 5 laps (but there is the option to change this on the day to 6 or 7).  An ultra marathon as standard will be 9 laps (but there is the option to increase this, according to time available e.g. upto 12 laps) The route encompasses the beautiful grounds of Haughley Park. You may be completing your first official 5k,10k, Half Marathon, Full Marathon or even ultra-Marathon, or it may be your 100th or 1000th, the location is pretty self-contained, making this an intimate event with us having exclusive use of the main area and have plenty of open space. There will be a water, aid station located at the lap point so no stress of having to carry lots of food, water or equipment. Parking is also included and secure on site. We will have a parking attendant showing you to park who will assist in directing you to the start point to collect your race number.  There will be a Bespoke medal for the event, which you will receive at the end of the race.   Or if you choose the lucky dip option (if an available option), you will choose from a selection of previous medals. The course is mainly pathway with a small section of trails and woodland.  Our suggestion is to wear road trainers but depending on the weather before the event you may want to bring trails if you have them but not essential.
