This historic trail, once a railway line, offers a unique multi-terrain experience as you meander your way from Ashbourne to Buxton. With a gentle uphill climb to Parsley Hay on the way out and a rewarding downhill return, you'll enjoy the thrill of racing in nature while soaking in the breathtaking views. Surrounded by beautiful countryside the traffic-free trail is ideal for a cracking out and back marathon, going uphill to Parsley Hay for the first half of the trail and slightly downhill on the way back to Ashbourne Leisure Centre... meaning, you've got gravity on your side for the homeward stretch! The race is suitable for both experienced and first-time marathon runners. Please note: there is a six hour cut off for this event.
