Nutcracker Run Day 2

Join us for an exciting day of running at the Nutcracker Run Day 2, hosted by Phoenix Running Hampshire, taking place on Sunday, December 13th, 2026, in the stunning Forest of Bere, Fareham, Hampshire. This unique event invites participants to choose their challenge, whether it's a 5km run or an ultra-distance adventure over the course of 7 hours. The scenic out-and-back course spans 3.28 miles, perfect for runners of all abilities. With a flexible start time between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM, you can arrive at your convenience and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere without the pressure of a traditional race start. Don’t forget to fuel up at the renowned aid station, which offers a delightful selection of sweet and savory treats, including their signature potatoes and plenty of vegan options. Whether you complete just one lap or push for more, you’ll be celebrated as a finisher. Don’t miss out—spots are limited, so be sure to secure your entry early! Phoenix Running Hampshire is inviting you to join us in the beautiful Forest of Bere for our 'Nutcracker Run Day 2' event. This is one of our timed events where you choose from 5km to Ultra. The course is a 3.28 mile out/back through the beautiful Forest of Bere. We welcome all abilities of runner. Complete one lap and you're both a finisher and a winner in our eyes, or keep going and see how far you can get in the full 7 hour time limit. We operate our uniquely flexible rock up and run start times, so no waiting around if you arrive early and no added pressure if you're running a bit late. The official start time is at 0800, but you are welcome to start anytime up till 1300. Give yourself plenty of time to complete the distance of your choice, as the course will close at 1500. Our aid station is also famous for all its sweet and savoury goodies and our signature POTATOES, we will always provide plenty of Vegan options too, so you won't go hungry! Places will be strictly limited so don't leave it too late to enter. Minimum distance is 3.28 miles or as far as you can go in 7 hours. Off road trail, the terrain is hard packed/well established trail. The overall course has an 80 meter gain. Parking charges apply: £2 for up to 2 hours, £4 up to 4 hours, £6 all day.
