RunThrough Run Media City 5k & 10k

Get ready for an exhilarating day of running at the RunThrough Run Media City 5k & 10k on Thursday, 30th July 2026! Organised by RunThrough Events, this exciting event takes place in the vibrant heart of Salford, Greater Manchester. Runners will embark on a scenic 2.5km loop that showcases the stunning surroundings, including the iconic Imperial War Museum and the famous ITV and BBC television studios. Participants can choose between the 5k or 10k distance, with the 5k consisting of 2 laps and the 10k featuring 4 laps of the flat and fast course. Each kilometre will be accurately marked, and enthusiastic volunteers will be on hand to cheer you on as you make your way to the finish line. Every entrant will receive a unique themed medal, free official race photos, chip-timed results, and post-race goodies to celebrate your achievement. Come and join us Run Media City 5k & 10k on Thursday 30th July 2026 Come and join us on Thursday, 30th July 2026 for the next event in the 2026 Run Media City 5k & 10k Series. Starting and finishing in the centre of Media City you will head out around a 2.5km loop that runs over the canal and runs past the imperial war museum along with the ITV and BBC television studios. The race involves laps, the course is flat and quick. There will be 2 lap for the 5k, 4 laps for the 10k. The course follows the paths and pavements inside the centre of media city. This is not a closed road race. Each kilometre will be accurately marked out and we have plenty of helpers to encourage you on your way to the finish line.
