Starting and finishing within the historic parkland, this scenic trail run offers a choice of 10K, 15K or Half Marathon distances, making it ideal for all abilities - from first-time trail runners to experienced off-road racers. The route flows through a mix of woodland trails, open parkland and riverside paths, with extended sections alongside the beautiful River Derwent. The course

The race will be clearly signed using PINK arrows and PINK tape. We will also mark hazards and road junctions with 'Caution' signs. Please take care at these points.

How Do I Enter A Group?

Use the form found on the event page to add each member of your team to the cart.

Can I Add More People To My Booking?

You will need to make a new booking. Group discounts are applied per booking only.

Can I Run With A Group Of Friends?

Yes! Please car share where possible as parking may be limited at the venue.

What Should I Wear?

We would recommend trail running clothing and trail running shoes. A rain jacket is also a good idea if we have wet conditions on the day.

Can I Get A Refund?

No, unfortunately we do not offer refunds unless you have opted for Ticket Protect. We can offer to transfer your ticket to a replacement runner if we are contacted two weeks before the event you have entered, this will incur a £10 charge (per order). Please read our terms & conditions for further information.

Can I Move My Ticket To A Different Event?

Yes, you must let us know 10 days prior to your event. We can move you to a different event for a £10 charge (per order).

Can I Bring My Friends And Family To Watch?

Yes! However, please car share where possible as parking may be limited at the venue.

Is There An Age Limit?

Our trail events are open to participants aged 17 and over. We also welcome participants aged 12-16, provided they are accompanied by a participating adult throughout the event. 3:1 child:adult ratio.

Can I Buy A Ticket On The Day?

Yes, if the event has not sold out. On the day entries are available and are subject to on the day pricing. Please see the event page for more information.

What Is Included In My Entry?

The entry pack (sent in the post approximately 1 week prior to the event) includes your bib number. At the finish everyone gets a medal and a finisher's gift.

Will I Receive Any Additional Information Before The Event?

Yes, we will send out a pre-event information pack via e-mail 1-2 weeks before the event. This will include confirmation of your entry, direction maps with parking and venue details & your start time.

Are Dogs Allowed At The Event?

Sorry, we do not allow dogs at our events unless it specifically states canicross on the event. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are permitted.

I Am Pregnant, Can I Run?

We would advise to seek medical advice prior to taking part in a trail run if you are pregnant.

I Have Lost My Pack Can I Still Participate?

Yes! Please contact us with your entry ID and we can arrange for a replacement pack to be collected on event

I Have My Bib Number, Do I Need To Register?

No. If you have your bib number you just need to turn up on the day, warm up and head on out at your start time.

Is Water Provided On Course?

Participants are encouraged to bring their own water and nutrition to the event. Emergency water will be available at the aid stations. Please bring a reusable cup / bottle if you think you may need to use this.

Can I Wear A Gopro?

You are able to wear an action camera yes. It is your own responsibility to keep this safe and undamaged.

When Do I Get My Results?

We will send you your result via email once the event has taken place.

Can I leave my bag somewhere while I take part?

Yes, there will be a bag drop at the event centre which costs £3 per bag. Please keep bags to a gym duffel size or smaller. Larger items won't be permitted. PLEASE NOTE: All bags will be searched by a member of the UKRE team for event safety and security.

Are there toilets on course?

Unfortunately, there will be no toilet facilities on the course. However, there are toilet facilities available at the event village before the start of the event. We strongly advise you to make use of these before beginning your run.
